Just bought a bunch of ski mountainering stuff including Scarpa F1 gt boots. I’m planning on using this stuff for ski mountaineering. Bartek’s recent climb and ski of Lhotse and Everest has be thinking he must have climbed up instead of used skins right? If so the ski mountaineering boot seems a little thin so I’m wondering if I’m missing something?

Anyone know if it’s possible to get a Denali climbing pass quicker than the required 60 days stated on the website? I don’t understand how you can sign up for guiding companies if there is a 60 days stated requirement? Also I have seen people go straight from Everest to Denali so I’m sure they had some special exception?
My circumstances are being in the military and not having control over my leave availability right now.
Any advice on how to decide on length? I’m 6’1 200 and normally on something over 180 for resort skiing. Been looking at the Salomon man pro 86 at 172 but unsure if that will feel way to short? I’m new to ski mountaineering and was told to go shorter.
