Hi,

I've only ever tipped my toes in TTRPGs but have always dreamed of doing more (busy dad with kids etc). Now my 15 year old son is interested and wants to give it a go! Only "condition" he set is it has to be "commando" style (i.e. small special squad) WW2 (or modern warfare) setting, not sci-fi/fantasy/etc

I've done a bit of D&D and I think that's about the complexity limit to avoid him getting bored by details.

Any recommendations? Ideally the book(s) has beautiful era-appropriate artwork etc
