What happened to all the free stuff?

Back in my day when a new hero came out, you would get 2 legionaries 3 epics and 4 rares/recolours. Now a new hero launches with just recoulours and if you want a new skin, congrats you have to pay 30 bucks for the ultimate BP. D.MON launched with one highlight intro (i believe you used to get 2/3) no unique emotes. and most importantly for me, NO SPRAYS. Like we cant even get cool sprays for new heroes anymore? I loved the sprays and the art work, and now anytime i want a cool one for a hero, I have to buy it with real money. That sucks. Everything in this game is increasingly designed to make you buy it or play the game for an extended period of time (need about 6-8hrs for a highlight intro).

I hate how you cant complain about skin distribution without being hit with that ONE screenshot

As the title states i really hate how if you critique skin distribution every nerd who doesn't understand what a primary source is says "this reddit comment literally says Kiriko saved overwatch, so its kinda necessary she gets 40 skins per season!" Especially coming off the marvel rivals Storm skin drama, it annoys me even more. As luna snow sells just as well, but the community still speaks up at how bs the favoritism is. Has that reddit comment ever actually been verified? I think we have just accepted being subservient slaves.
