Nectar injectors

I've been randomly exploring underground and have so far come across both a legendary mechanimist and a legendary putus templar, but neither had a nectar injector to sell me.

Is it just RNG, or do I have to kill them for it (not that I'm confident I could find either of them again).

DQ7R Lucky Panel

I'm now on 3 Bad Axes, 3 Liquid Metal Goomerangs and 3 Liquid Metal Shields, but no Liquid Metal Swords or Mirror Armors. This sucks.

Question about D7 axe stats

I've just started Disgaea 7 (PC, so without the additional Switch 2 content) and feel like giving Etna an axe for once instead of the usual spear.

But I know in previous games they were a nightmare (or impossible) to level up later in the game because the negative HIT and SPD stats would grow as the positive ATK stat did.

Is it possible to get around this and build a usable post-game axe in this one?

DQ7R Balancing

This is my third DQ (after 3 and 1 HD2D), and I'm finding the balancing so strange..

I know there are pretty common complaints regarding the constant statues restoring MP, auto revive after battle, etc. But I'm just talking about the basic balancing of fights.

I'm playing on Tough Going and have absolutely not grinded or over levelled (both Aishe and Mervyn joined at 2-3 levels above my party at the time). However, as soon as I got access to Alltrades Abbey I decided to turn the whole party onto "Fight Wisely" to see how things went, and I've just had my first game over... against Togrus Maximus. Feels like I've made it half way through the game on auto battle on what is supposed to be the hard difficulty, which doesn't seem right?

Is it an issue if a small amount of polluted oxygen got into my AT/ST?

Followed a guide that suggested I could avoid vacuuming out the steam box by first filling it with a layer of polluted water and then a layer of normal water, but because the normal water evaporated first the polluted water ended up off-gassing some polluted oxygen before it too evaporated.

The set-up seems to be working so I'm tempted to leave it unless it's going to create issues down the line...

Plan for first time using oil

I'm about to set up oil wells on 3 oil reservoirs for the first time. The plan is to use them as a permanent source of power (slowly running out of coal and I don't want to ranch hatches).

I already have some plastic from ranching glossy dreckos. I want to go with the simplest build possible (i.e. refinery rather than a boiler) as it's my first time setting all these things up, but am very worried about heat.

The plan is to build a big insulated box containing the oil refinery, 3 petroleum generators, and 2 natural gas generators (all out of steel). Then I'll put a steam turbine at the top to eat up the steam that all the polluted water will become, and a carbon skimmer at the bottom for all the CO2. Together those should delete enough heat to keep the whole thing in equilibrium. This would be my first time using a steam turbine also.

...is this going to work?

Why isn't water flowing through these pipes?

Why isn't the clean water flowing into the right-most toilet or the showers?

They each have an error saying "pipe empty"

Early game cool steam vents

I'm on my third proper game - first one I was very lucky to get two cool slush geysers right near my starting point and that made temperature management really easy, but I ended up dropping that game due to life stuff meaning I stopped playing for a few months. My second game ended pretty early because I made a mess with a natural gas geyser and generators and decided to start over.

For this game, I've started right next to three cool steam vents - two exposed and one covered. I know they are not the easiest / most worthwhile geyser type, but given I have three of them I think it's worth trying to figure out how to get something out of them. Ideally power as I'm struggling in that area.

What are my best options? I'm only on cycle 30 so don't have much high tech available, but I have a decent amount of gold amalgam.
