So I was looking at my senator list and I've been bribing them every chance I get, so a lot of them were in my favour usually near total support but when I tried to do the 10 mana fundraising bill, they all loathed me and I don't get what I'm supposed to be doing if the cheapest option will just make them all hate me instantly.

Story time!

Ok, so I've been playing Disgaea 2 for the past week or so (working on the next Cheat Sheet ;) ) and I got to the battle with Shura and Serion. I remember one of the NPCs mentioning their evilities but somehow completely forgot about it when I got to the battle. Heck, I even checked their evilities at the start of the battle but still somehow forgot.

Making my way through the battle and lose my Magician early on in the fight. No biggie, he always dies. I finally get to Shura and Serion and well, you probably realize the problem. Losing my only spell caster will be a problem for taking down Shura.

Me thinking I'm big brain, I use an element based attack...0 damage. Suddenly, I'm in a bind. Only spells do damage and I'm fresh out of those. I have Adell, Pleinair, Rozalin, Hanako, and the Cleric they give you at the beginning of the game.

I come up with a brilliant idea...Geo damage. I toss Shura onto a geo panel and pop one of the colors. 40% of their HP is depleted. AIGHT BET. I do it for the other set. 42% is depleted...and now I'm fresh outta geo symbols to use.

I'm sitting there cursing that my Thief was lost b/c I could at least Poison this last enemy and then I remember...my Clergy is a Bow user, and has Poison Arrow.

I sit there going "welp, only one shot I get this...." and I not only hit but also trigger the Poison. I win the battle.

I literally ran across my home celebrating that I pulled off that win.

This is why I love the Disgaea series...b/c I can pull off shenaningans like this.

I then did the Dark World stage for it afterwards and again won via Thief shenaningas (seriously, the ailments are INSANELY powerful!).

In the datashop, you can select everyone's Nether record.

On switch 2, it seems to show that only 44,138 people have uploaded their Nether records.

Does that suggest the game has only sound roughly 44k copies on switch 2?

Can anyone check the Everyone's NR from the datashop on switch 1 or PC to see what the numbers are?

I was leveling some of my characters, a new party member (the Thief), and upgrading some gear in the Item World. Then I went back to the main story (Blair Forest), but the game got stuck, which forced me to reload my in-game save since nothing else worked. This can't be happening...

I am quite new to the series and went with 7 as my entry point as from what I could gather it was the best QoL improvement one and apparently it is a bit simpler in design than some other titles.

I have gotten the base game as it quite frankly seems a bit steep to me in terms of DLC pricing. What I wonder is if I am locking myself out of any meaningful end game content by not getting certain DLC? I don't really care (at least for now) for more toys to do the same content as I don't have any reference to characters from older titles. I also lack a concept of what "true endgame" is as I am just halfway through the campaign. I don't see a point of getting small side stories either if they are not part of the end game stuff.

Do I understand correctly that the DLC is basically more of a fan service thing / adding more strategies or builds etc. to clear the same end game content?

Apologies if such a topic was done here before recently because I wanted to sit down to have a moment of observation to try to understand why NIS of Japan had not brought back some of the older games in the franchise.

Basically I was just wondering what caused some of the games on the PS3 era of the franchise to not get remastered since while I do enjoy playing Disgaea 3 so much, I cannot help but find it interesting how only way the game got a modern release was through a streaming service since said game is missing a ton of features on the PS Plus version.

When does it unlock and I know that the price is really high until you defeat 30 of a monster unit, so how high is the price of a first tier dragon at the high end like Genius if you've only beaten 1? Also are they in the item world?

I'm not sure how that flag for that class works.

I’m noticing a pattern while grinding 5-3 on disgaea PC on steam. The lower the enemies health gets, the lower damage I do and the more I start missing attacks? Is the enemy getting some kind of secret buff as their health goes down or is it my attacks just get significantly weaker the closer I am to killing an enemy? This is important to me because I’ve been trying to chain attacks when the enemies close to dying with lower level characters but the attacks often do 0 damage or miss even though regular attacks start out doing high damage.

This is my first disgaea game so I appreciate the help/ am willing to try and learn/understand how everything works. Thanks.

I just needed to know how do I make my bag size bigger because I already maxed out at chapter 9 and don’t wanna sell anything in case I need soemthing

From what I understand Levels, Kill Bonus and Rarity are modifiers that multiply the base stats of an item. If I put innocents in an item do those stats get added after all the modifiers or are they added to the base stats that then get affected by the modifiers?

I'm trying to run through the Disgaea games with characters I've made up and assigned classes in my head, one of them is a girl that I decided would be a thief, I know complete has female thieves but I want to play on my PC, so is the female thief change a complete version only thing?
