Makeup class is in session!!!

Makeup class is in session!!!

Hi, I'm new to this subreddit and I was hoping to get some advice abt doing my makeup. I'm hoping to use this post as a summary of how to use every single makeup product and why we use it.

I'll go first:

Foundation-used to cover up slight scars and make your skin look flawless. People also use it to change their skin tone a bit, applying lighter or darker shades based on how they want to appear.

How: People can directly apply it on their face or they put some on the back of their hand and spread it out when they apply. Tools used to blend out consists of brushes, sponges, a spatula, anything really.

Mascara-makes your lashes look fuller and longer, it apparently then makes your eyes bigger?

How: Use an eyelash curler to first curl your lashes. Get a mascara and start from the roots of your lashes. Apply upward and repeat for about 4-5 times.

Primer-can help hold up your makeup longer and doesn't make your foundation cake (meaning it looks very thick and dusty)

How: Just apply the same you would apply lotion but about half the amount.

Lip gloss-hydrating for the lips but also glistens, most also have color in them

How: This is pretty straightforward, just grab the applicator and glide it over your lips.

I would like to hear about...

Eye shadow

Lash extensions/fake lashes

Concealer

Highlighter

Eyeliner

Lip liner

Blush

I'm a high school senior that is about to graduate and go to college. I started skating in the beginning of high school since our school had a rink and offered ice-skating as a PE course. I basically self-studied every move under the guidance of my PE teacher who was not that motivated to teach and had a slight language barrier. I basically showed her videos of the moves I wanted to learn and she would show me how to do them, so my skating curriculum is really messed up. (Ex. I can do a mohawk but I can't even do a basic jump)

So I wanted to go to a college that would have some kind of structure and coach but apparently the college I am going only has an ice skating "organization". Basically, no one can skate much and they host activities for fun. This is good but I really was looking forward to improving my skating skills further in college and I can't do that if the club basically relies on its members to teach others.

My goal for college skating is

1.) get more certificates (I already have the first level)

2.) compete as a college team

3.) have some coach to rely on and guide me through this as I don't want to repeat my high school experience

...by using the most out of my college tuition.

Is there any way I could make changes to this club after I join? The school funds a lot of money to student activities. Could I somehow find a coach to sign a contract with the school to be the club's coach? How do I get my school to be able to compete at intercollegiate levels? Am I even qualified enough to be making these changes? Thanks everyone

I've seen a lot of people say that I should then watch Vampire Diaries but I am an avid hater for that show. Don't get why people like any of the brothers. Also no Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I think I am done with the vampire trope.

But I do want a tv show that has a relationship like Blair and Chuck, where everything seems to be great yet the very next second my happiness is whisked away (don't judge). I want something where I will literally yell at the screen for them to get together and spend months finding conspiracy theories for their couples. I want the yearning, the desire, the destruction.

I need to stop obsessing over imaginary characters...
