hi all :) just wanted to check and make sure my little guy looks okay? only mushroomy smell and no alarming colours. just a bit curious about the thin wispy lines? i know myc can branch out like that so maybe just that, just wanted second opinion
i know im best just leaving it alone but im new and want to make sure nothing goes wrong lol. does everything seem ok from the pictures? moist enough? any warning signs?
i added the grain to substrate on the 1st, second picture is how it looks today - is it best to let it fully colonise in the tub all the way to the bottom or just the surface or? also worried it seems wet? thank you mushroom masters
hello everybody… i feel like ive just come home after getting a fail and i need to sbow my parents the papers… ANYWAY! my spawn tub got contaminated with some mysterious green funk. then some black funk. however my myc which i have affectionately deemed mylo seemed to grow EXCITEDLY around it and then the green ~ went away . ~ i know the odds of it beating it are lowwww i know contamination comes back usuallyyyyy. i want it to be known i have assumed nothing will happen and i am NOT getting my hopes up. and i am NOT suggesting ANYBODY do this i know its silly and i may be starting the next plague. but the spirits told me to still add the grain to substrate, the substrate i had was specifically for this tub and i wouldn’t have used it otherwise. i have no other grows and don’t plan on doing any in this house for the foreseeable. so i thought WHY NOT!!!
anyway i can’t really see through the tub but through the foggy window it seems to be doing okay. it’s been in there about 5 days now, there’s nothing other than white. does it seem too wet? it’s probably been game over since the start, but if there’s anything i can do to improve its chances do let me know. but please dont lecture me obi wans i know its probably going to go nowhere ;3 i just thought itd be fun to post and share :p
