Tallow

My father in law rendered some beef tallow and placed into jars for us. Im wanting to use it for skincare or something other than for cooking. What would be my next steps if I wanted to have whipped tallow for example? It’s currently refrigerated, let it get to room temp then use my kitchen aid? Should I add an oil or scent??

My yogurt is sour!!

help! I made yogurt for the first time this week. I had it in my incubator for over 8 hours and then put it in the fridge for probably 36 hours. It looks like yogurt (yay!) BUT it tasted SOUR (boo!).

Did I do something wrong in the process? Should I follow a different recipe? (I did 5 1/2 cups of A2 A2 Organic whole milk and 2 Table spoons of Kirkland organic non fat Greek yogurt. Boiled the milk to 150° then cooled to 100°, mixed in the yogurt then jarred it and it sat in the incubator for over 8 hours then refrigerated it).

I was so excited but now I’m super bummed.

Yogurt Making Help!

I thrifted this yogurt maker (Miracle Yogurt Maker BR7) however it didn’t come with any instructions so I have no idea what to do. I even looked online and had zero luck finding this model. I should add, I have never made yogurt before but I saw this and decided that it was my time!!! I’ve found some videos on YouTube with some somewhat similar models (but stainless steel). Anyone have an idea on how to use this + any tips as a first time yogurt maker?!

thanks!
