YC deal flow
Anyone have recommendations on getting into YC deals? Seems like most of the good companies are fully committed by the time demo day rolls around.

Does anyone know if they might bring this back like they did last year? I heard there were some recent changes on EIP?
Would like a higher quality one, looking for recs!
(I have the plastic one).
I was wasting like 6-8 hours a week just manually scraping Crunchbase, LinkedIn, and job boards. I run a B2B SaaS and was basically just hunting for companies that had just raised money and were scaling fast so I could pitch them.
After doing it manually for a while, the pattern became super obvious. Freshly funded startups almost always buy new tools in the first 90 days post-raise. They have new funding, need a new stack, and have a strict mandate from investors to grow.
So naturally I just built a tool to automate finding these contacts for myself. It ended up working so well that it's now my best lead gen channel by far.
I ended up just turning it into a real thing if anyone wants to check it out (vcbacked.co - signup is free btw).
Curious what buying signals you guys are watching right now. What's actually working for your outbound?
