im a us citizen living in india planning on joining collin plano for the fall semester this year.I didn't wanna take this route but i didn't get into utd and now I'll hv to take a transfer route.Im really scared since I know no one in Texas except my uncle's family where I'm gonna be staying.Im hoping to get a transfer in a yr is it easy?how is the social life at collin will I be able to make friends or is everyone busy with themselves?

so apparently it was all true nmims this time has given weightage to the board result without giving any official information since many of my frnds including me got 70-80% in boards but focused well on the npat and were consistently scoring 80-85 in ims mocks.MY RANK WAS FUCKING 9K I went to nmims spoke to a counselor saying I cannot get such a bad rank since I had given the npat well she asked me wht was ur board percentage?I said 70% she said yea that's why ur rank was bad cus from this year we have started giving boards more weightage than npat.I REALLY FUCKING WANTED TO GO TO NMIMS I JOINED IMS PAID 50K GAVE 3 ATTEMPTS GENUINELY THINKING IF NOT ANYTHING I WILL SECURE BBA BUT NOW AFTER KNOWING THE SCAM NMIMS HAS DONE WITH STUDENTS LIKE US IT IS SO HEARTBREAKING.ONE OF MY FRIENDS SCORED 96% IN BOARDS BUT NEVER HAD MORE THAN 70 IN IMS NPAT MOCKS FUCKING GOT A 700 RANK AND WILL BE DOING BSC FIN.NMIMS IS A FUCKING SCAM AND I HOPE ONE DAY THE WHOLE MANAGEMENT WHO THINKS THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT WHENEVER THEY WANT JUST BEC ITS NMIMS gets fucked in the ass

acc to Google if 300 ppl get 80 and last 50 seats remain they will give the seat in accordance to higher quants section and i confirmed with NMIMS 12th board percentage is only for the eligibility not rank so idts it will be used as the tie breaker since it's unfair to compare isc hsc a levels ib percentages for tie breaker.If anyone has any idea abt this please lmk

first pay 9k almost just to register for npat and give out ur preferences then fucking study 2 months in IMS then give 3 attempts of npat over a course of 1.5 months all this just to get into a private college which has the worst management and also cannot give out results.Atlas I'm coming
ik boards marks r only for eligiblity but since many have been saying that the marks do hv weightage can anyone currently in NMIMS mumbai bsc finance or bba give their examples how they scored low but enough to clear the eligibility but still got in cus then it means only npat matters.
im trying for bsc finance mumbai and ims states that the cutoff is 78-80 and im also expecting around 77-80.I know the competition is high as it is every year but the cutoff being anything above 85 is nonsense cause npat being such a lengthy exam w less time idts many ppl actually score above 82-83.What score are y'all genuinely expecting since afterall the cutoffs depend on how good or bad this batch has performed.
i called them today to clear if 12th board marks matter or not and I told them all I've heard is npat matters and 12th marks is just to clear the eligibility but she didn't respond clearly saying everything matters ur npat boards the preference i was like but ur rank is only based on npat she's like please wait till the merit list comes out I'm like f this.I hv done a levels nd got 72% in it.Getting 72 in a levels is kinda good it's not like isc or cbse where 72 is considered bad so I'm really tensed if they r actually gonna give weightage to 12th and it's not fair to do it if we weren't informed from befor.I also asked my ims sir he said board marks don't matter but the helpline staff won't clear this.ANY1 CURRENTLY STUDYING IN NMIMS OR KNOWS HOW THE PROCESS WORKS PLEASE LMK IF BOARD MARKS REALLY HV ANY WEIGHTAGE PLS.
