Warning for all AX attendees. MowtenDoo is there in person

Just saw some tweets of him being at AX this morning, and wanted to give a fair warning to all. For those who don't know, He used to work with Vshojo and was called out for his creepy ass behavior both offline and online. He once tried to force a vtuber, Tobs, to doing coke at a party once. Its a whole story of what happen with Vshojo. but basically man is a creep, and should not be trusted. If your out of the loops, there tons of info about him and his involvement out there that you can look up.

Explain to me how the Nintendo Direct today was bad

What was wild to me was not only was everyone on the panel giving it low scores, but the chat was also agreeing that it was a bad direct. I keep hearing "bad presentation" but good games shown. Someone please explain to me how this affects your viewing experience in determining if a presentation is bad.

How is different then past directs that do the same thing in the past. This was the Nintendo format since 2020, and has been this way for a good while. People were complaining about ports being more showcased then the actual games themselves. Which hey, valid, but at the same time Nintendo has always been this way. They show off ports coming to the switch all the time, what was different this time around then others?

Nintendo Direct 9-12-2025

I didn't hear a peep about the last direct being bad from everyone. It has the same mix of both 1st party and 3rd party games in the steam. Was it just because there wasn't much shown of st party games?

At the end of the day, this is just a showcase of games coming to the switch, and no different then a state of play or the xbox showcase. Its game after game after game trailer to whats to come. If your talking about placements of games in the direct, sure re-arrange games to make it flow better sure. but overall I enjoyed the direct. I think it stood toe to toe with others out there this past week with SGF and Xbox. I personally think its higher then Sony State of Play imo.

I don't think a "bad presentation" makes this direct a bad showcase. Pacing in a showcase? There is a little of pacing in each presentation but there really isn't a real science to hitting play on videos back to back of whats coming up. At its core they are all the same. Every press conference is about the games and sometimes the hardware, but seeing everyone here poo poo it because of "bad presentation" is just wild to me.

I am glad I am not only one feeling this way since I saw Barret in chat also saying this was not as bad as people were making it out to believe. And I am not a Nintendo guy! I don't play many RPGs but I can recognize that there were some heavy hitters in this stream that even I popped off for.

So I just want to know why and explain. I am still hyped to what was shown on this Direct.

Question to all who all like the Skullgirl mobile Tik Tok Videos

Hey everyone!

I used to be the Tik Tok video editor for HVS back in 2023 for a year. I loved making the videos every week and interacted with the community. Since then I just kept to working on putting out schedules for the greater Skullgirls competitive scene. I have been thinking about this recently, and would you guys be cool with me getting back to doing that? Given it won't be under the Skullgirls mobile account, and more then likely on my own account or if somehow I can get my sgmolly tiktok account back.

Just wanted to gauge interest about this. and if so, I could tie this back to the patreon I have anyways to possibly get back to being paid to work on Skullgirls videos again like I did back in HVS.
