Post graduation - First day at new base

After graduation, we are given 1 week off. Then report to assigned base for orientation. I will be commuting to my base initially until I get my transfer to IAH. So it will be awhile. Hopefully in a year’s time!

Now, my first trip to base, can I use my flight benefits as a commuter, or do I have to buy my ticket for my initial trip to my assigned base? ChatGPT can’t give me a clear answer.

Thanks!

Offered CTO! So grateful!

After a rigorous assessment and interview process, I’m proud to say I was offered CTO. The journey continues…this is just the beginning. Next on to training in November! The advice that I can give to everyone that is still in the interview process, be yourself, study the company, study the culture, learn the core values and learn the STAR method. When you go to your face-to-face in Houston, best advice is dress to impress. Smile and engage from the moment you step into the lobby. Those who will have a say in you passing will be in the lobby checking people in. Engage the other candidates - we are all in the same boat! Other piece of advice - do not over power others or talk over others during group activities/assessment. And lastly be your self! They saw something in you to invite you to Houston. Good luck everyone!! Y’all got this!!
