
Unauthorized upgrade
Hi! I advice everyone na magbantay sa Go Fiber App or email nila kasi I just experienced na ma-upgradr yung plan ko from FiberX 1500 to Netflix Bundle 2298.
May 13: I saw notifs sa email ko so I immediately made a report through a call. They said they'll make a report and see what they can do
May 14 (am): I followed up sa chat and they said I should settle my balance first before they downgrade. Another agent sa chat said they can't do anything about this because it was processed through a microsite which needed certain info. So when I thought na nagmamatigas na sila, I involved NTC na. Additionally, I told them that if it was my information used, this could be a privacy issue na.
May 14 (pm): I went to the business centre in Pasig since my office is just close. The agent seemed surprised sa case, probably because first time lang na encounter. They asked me to write a request letter to downgrade the plan. I wrote one and insisted I didn't initiate, authorize, or consent to any updates made to my plan. in the letter. Kinuha din specimen signature ko.
May 15: Basically no movement na. Closely monitored daw and escalated na to the right teams.
May 18: I just received an email from NTC forcing Converge to reply and within the hour, it was back to FiberX 1500 na.
For anyone who experienced the same thing, you can do what I did as well.
