I am so done with LinkedIn and Indeed! Any other credible jobboards that you guys are applying on?

I am into IT Service Management, and I was laid off 2 months ago. I have done most of the things that are out there, reaching out to people on LinkedIn and tailoring my resume for each job, applying directly on company portals, getting referral links from people I know, etc. Nothing seems to work. What's strange is that, after 12 years in this space, I am doubting whether I am cut out for it; why haven't I received a single call yet?

I came here to ask about other job boards you guys might be using. Sorry about the rant above though!

Employment letter request again by IRCC

Does anyone know what this means? My submitted letter included everything they mentioned here. It sounds vague and not really sure what else is required.

Two things I think could be an issue, my letter did not explicitly mention how many total hours i worked for. It only mentions my weekly hours. Should I add how many exact days and hours I worked for.

Second, is my CRS score, the system had given me 520+ and the draw was 508. Based on my actual experience I was actually 511, but the system considered two years because it was very close to it. Could this be the issue and a reason for rejection if I submit the letter again and the score doesn’t add up to 520+

letter from IRCC:

Submissions: As it appears, your Letter of Employment from xyz does
not meet minimum requirements. Please provide a newly updated Letter of Employment from
xyz. Please provide a newly updated official document printed on
company letterhead (must include the applicant's name, the company's contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company). Ilease list all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, a list of duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week (can also state full or part time in lieu of number of hours worked) and annual salary plus benefits.
Please ensure the employment record letter features the signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company along with the job title and name.
This must be received at this office by: 2026/08/31

Payment delay this week?

Did Canadian folks receive their pay this week? I usually get it around 5 PM ET, but $0 so far 😅
Wondering if it’s got something to do with Monday holiday?

Discussion around a product I am trying to build.

Hey folks,

Lately, I have been thinking about AI agent monitoring and governance problem and wanted to put it out there to a wider audience to see what you all think about it. How about we use this thread as sharing your opinion/advice on this idea. I am genuinely trying to get some early feedback and trying to reach as many people as possible.

The problem: I have seen this first hand that companies and employees are using AI agents more and more, often without proper IT authorizations, and those with authorizations as well are making some leadership roles really uncomfortable. Not knowing who is using what, what type of access these agents have, is there a data breach or a potential for one, are they compliant with orgs policies, etc. This is mainly because I overheard some conversations about this at my current job.
This got me thinking, what if this is a real wide-spread problem. Some of my early search ("research") indicate that there are a few platforms but tailored towards building, testing and deploying agents and monitoring them. But not everyone is using a single platform. What is there was one, or is there one? I don't know.

Having spent a good amount of time building things that nobody wanted, I am really trying engage in conversations and get feedback even before I start building. (I do have a crappy version that basically shows app authorization and access grants in Microsoft and Google Workspace, mostly useless at this point, hey, I can't help but keep building with these AI tools!!)

What do you guys think, is this something you have noticed too in your experience?
If you are someone who is good at market research, or finding audience, I would love to hear your take as well.
