Some portraits
It’s been warm and while I can’t do some of the amazing dynamic photography of this group, I decided to try my hand at some portraits for some of the figures in my collection.
Shot with Ricoh GRiiix and edited in Lightroom.

Decided to wander around downtown on Saturday for a bit. Here’s some highlights.
I picked up some small RGB lights recently so I decided to play around with the many many things laying around my apartment. I was heavily inspired by the work of folks like plastic head.
The macro mode on the GRIIIx is kinda perfect for this.
Picked up one of the Mandalorian and grogu stormtroopers and added a scarf I had gotten for a custom figure ages ago and never used. The rife is a customized sniper I made for something that never coalesced either.
Took the pentax17 as my film camera in a road trip to the PNW. First time taking it out and very impressed with it overall. Shot with a combination of portra 400, and kodacolor 200
Spent some time traveling the west coast and left the GR at home because I knew I needed a bit more flexibility with zoom and weather sealing. That said, I missed my little daily carry so I went out to grab some quick snaps of spring finally springing in the Midwest.
Any bird shots were shot with the XC 50-230mm. Warning. There is a dead beached whale among these photos.
