Volunteering opportunities for adult

Just curious if anyone knows of any volunteering opportunities for adults? I recently got laid off and spending all day applying without getting many responses is really difficult. I was looking to spend my days doing something constructive instead of meandering around my home. Anyone know of any volunteering opportunities in Milton? Most of the stuff I found on Google is aimed at young adults and/or there is a waitlist.

Is this quote from Paul legit?

I just started reading the book “And In The End: The Last Days of The Beatles” by Ken McNab and I’m pretty sceptical about the accuracy. For example this quote that Paul McCartney apparently said to the rest of the band which I’ve highlighted. It doesn’t sound like something he would say. Also, there’s no sources for any of this and I can’t find any other outlet that backs this up. Normally, I’d just go along with it and assume the author did their research but the second quote that I highlighted is plain wrong and confirmed by the Peter Jackson documentary. George Harrison was hurt by something Paul said, he didn’t “rail bitterly” against anyone. He simply got up and said “I’m leaving” and never said “See you round the clubs. Put an ad in the NME”. The book is also very opinionated and biased against certain members, which a biography should never be. It should just present the facts and let the readers form their own opinions. I’m just on the 10th page. Has anyone read this book? Any thoughts on whether it’s a reliable source on the topic of the Beatles’ last year?

Edit: Thanks everyone for contributing your thoughts and pointing out the exact timestamps on Get Back where these things were said.

While the book accurately quotes what was said, it is clear that the tone and context is exaggerated to sound more hostile than it actually was.

I’ll continue reading the book and trusting the quotes are accurate but taking everything with a grain of salt, knowing that events are most likely exaggerated.
