Are squishy animal night lights cute or just clutter?
I am currently in the process of renovating my small studio apartment to make it more comfortable/soft and less college dorm like. Last night at my friends’ apartment, her little sister had a fat cow-shaped nightlight on her dresser and my mind cannot stop thinking about it.
I am a little obsessed with the concept of soft touch squishy lamp designs capybaras/cats/who knows what other animals shaped with softly glowing LED lights. I am 27 years old, so maybe it’s just childish nonsense, or is it just a cute and soft way to bring some coziness without having another boring lamp? I might be overthinking it a little.
Do any of you own one of those squishy animal lamps for your bedroom or living room? If yes, do you think it fits in aesthetically or does it end up looking childish and too much? I would love any pictures of how you decorate them in conjunction with fairy lights/floor lamps, and any other lighting.
Are there any particular brands/designs that I should try or stay away from? Something soft and cozy, but also whimsical yet grown up enough for a grown woman who has her life together a little bit.
