Hi everyone, I have a 5 to 6 year-old Frigidaire refrigerator. I was just gifted it by family. I would like to set it up in my home but I have several concerns. It was last used about three years ago and has sat in a garage since. The waterlines were not purged before storage, and I confirmed this by pulling out the water filter and a good bit of water drained out. I would really like to use the water filter, water dispenser, and ice-maker functions but I am worried that these lines / components are all contaminated with mold and are unsafe to use. My wife currently has sensitive health issues so having contaminated water is a nonstarter. Can I replace these components? Can I clean them out? Thanks everyone for the help.
