The really fascinating part is that the St. John’s Water Dog wasn’t a carefully standardized breed in the modern sense. It was a working Newfoundland dog developed by fishermen. Dogs were selected for intelligence, swimming ability, endurance, retrieving and willingness to work. Those qualities became part of the foundation of the Labrador Retriever.

What is this Haze? Or Am I imagining?

I’m in Peoria, AZ and I swear I see a haze everywhere?! Anybody else see it? Or know what it’s from.
