YAW sensor

I have a 2001 325i sedan with 270k miles on it. I just bought it for $800. It has a bad YAW sensor according to the previous owner so my brake light, traction control light etc are on. I only plan for this thing to be a drift car/ seat time beater. Is there a cheap fix i can do go so I don't have to spend 100s on a new sensor. Can I put a resistor inline or something?

How many is too many?

After a few months of owning my '03 325xi wagon I just picked up this '01 325i Sedan 5 speed. Is this considered an addiction yet?

Where to learn automotive based german.

I started a job at an Audi dealership as a technician. Sometimes after software updates to our tools they will be stuck in german until an English version rolls out. I think it would make my job easier not only to learn German but more specifically automotive focused words. Just looking to get pointed into a good direction for resources. TIA.

Low on power at low rpm

My 2003 335xi is low on power until around 4.5k rpm then it suddenly opens up like vtec. From my understanding vanos is a constant thing not something that "hits" like vtec .I've heard it could either be my CCV or vanos needs rebuilt. Wondering if there is a direction I can go to diagnose it rather than just throw parts at it.

Tools you wish you had sooner?

Starting a job soon at a BMW dealer. I worked at a Kia dealer for 4 years so I have plenty of tools. Wondering if there are any tools you recommend that you wouldn't expect to need or made you life way easier.

My drivers front ball joint in my 2002 325xi has significant play in it and I was looking at repair options. And a new control arm is $400-$600 but a maxpeeding rods angle kit is $500. Just wonder if anyone has experience with an angle kit on awd.

Recently my shop has been struggling a lot lately with having people come in. Just about 25/ day on average. I am fighting our quick lubes for oil changes and recalls to scrape by and try to pay my bills and eat. I have watched two techs be spoon fed the gravy while I sit and starve. The other day I sat for 3-4 hours with not a single car to work on. Then my manager walks back and hands out PDIs to two technicians and for reference PDIs have never been dispatched in my shop they are set on a table and it is first come first serve and you do not take more then one. Management and my coworkers are making me sick and tired of this industry and I am worried it will be the exact same no matter where I go. I wish there was a lateral move to a different industry from being a technician.

As the title states oil light comes on. I found magnetic oil shavings and one little chunk in my oil during oil change. Thinking possibly splints on oil pump or the timing chains wearing. It is a 02 325xi

I bought a 2002 325xi 2 days ago. While doing all my flushes I typical do when buying a car especially one with 190,000 miles, I noticed quite a bit of metal shavings in the oil and on the drain plug. The guy I bought it from said he replaced the head a few years ago because of a burnt valve. Just curious how common rod bearing service is and if I should jump on top of that before it becomes catastrophic.

Looking at a '03 325xi with 180k mi. Wondering if there is specific issues I should look at. I know the cooling systems on these love to leak and that's about it. Also its an auto if that matters. TIA.
