Historical Isekai or Time related Isekai.

Stories about a real life historical figure coming to the modern age somehow, usually in a fantastical way. This can also go the opposite way.

Ivan Vasilievich Changes Profession - The story follows an inventor by the name of Shurik, who menages to create a time machine. During the testing of the machine, Shurik accidentally brings Ivan the Terrible to the soviet Russia, and his neighbor, who just so happens to look like Ivan, ends up in his place, stuck in the old century. So now, Shurik has to fix the time machine and bring both Ivans back to their timelines, while Ivan the Terrible gets familiar with future version of his empire.

Ya Boy Kong Ming - Story follows a chinese strategist Kong Ming, who ends up in modern day Japan after his passing. This leads to Kong Ming meeting a young singer by the name of Eiko Tsukimi and helps her gather audience and fame using ancient chinese war strategies.

Technically, Musashi arc of Baki (and maybe Pickle Arc too) - Matsumoto Musashi comes to life into the modern day Japan via experiment. Despite his body being an identical clone, he is still technically same Musashi as the one from the real life history, memories and everything. After all, they did invite some spirutualist woman for the experiment to "bring his soul into the body". Musashi becomes the next big fighter everyone wants to fight with, but Musashi is way stronger and far more experienced in battle than Pickle who uses brute force and unga bunga tactics. This revival leads to many injuries, a few deaths, Retsu getting isekai'd, and Pickle getting absolutely obliterated. Also, he can cut people with his mind.

They are one of the good ones.

Characters who belong to a group of bad people, or have a very evil sounding job, but are actually good or technically not too bad compared to other people in the group. Idk how to explain it.

Stroheim (Jojo's bizarre adventure) - Stroheim is a fascist germany admiral, who was an Antagonist in first chapters of Battle Tendency. Despite the fact that he is the worst scum of the Earth and part of biggest group of losers the world has ever seen, he becomes a supporting character and helps Joseph beat the Pillar men along with his army. He is technically a part of the good guys, but at the same time, it's hard to call him totally good, considering that he is.. still a Nazi, even after battle with Pillar men was one.

Charlie (Tomb) and Jacko (Tomb's serial slashing) - Charlie is a serial slasher for hire, technically a serial murderer. There's a catch, he only kills serial killers. Since he was killed by a well known serial murderer, and brought back to life by unknown force, he is looking for them and strives to help the community of Louisiana sleep safely at night without worrying about another killer taking their life. Since Police has given up on looking for the killers, Charlie is the one who cleans up the mess. Jacko, a friend of Tomb, is also a serial slasher and helps with his business, once going on his own to kill a daughter of one of the killers they just brutally murdered a few days ago.

Lucas Lee (Scot Pilgrim) - In the comics and the netflix anime, Lucas Lee is shown to be a more neutral of the Evil Exes. His job is to beat Scott, but at the same time, he doesn't really want to fight him and is kind of just doing it because League wants him to. He only gets defeated after Scott made him grind on the stairs, leading to him turning into coins.

Serial Killers of Tomb's Serial Slashing.

Tomb's Serial Slashing is a webcomics made by @Stainedge, about a man who is resurrected by unknown force after getting murdered by a known serial Killer in his area. While Police is doing nothing to stop the murders, Tomb becomes the friendly neighborhood Serial Slasher, a killer who kills other killers. For now Webcomic is ongoing, but Tomb's story concept existed way before it was officially made, so some killers here are not in the comics just yet, but will become important later.

What I like about each Killer is how each one has a gimmick that makes them stand out. Not only that, but the designs of each and every one is unique, especially when it comes to their bodies and physique. Some take inspiration from insects, as you can see in their descriptions.. >!well, actually, the insects may be parasites who give certain killers paranormal abilities!<

Like I said before, some of these killers are not present in the webcomic and will appear later on, but by their description and behavior, you could suspect what their thing is and what they might do in the story, making the story even more engaging since you get a teaser of what's to come, that doesn't spoil the story.

Please read the comics if you can and subscribe to the creator for more news and artwork for the series. I highly recommend it.

Since we discussed Depictions of Satan, let's talk about Depictions of God that don't look like a bearded man in a white robe.

Arceus (Pokemon) - Arceus is implied to be the creator of the Pokemon universe, making him the first pokemon technically. Despite him being catchable, and being considered a Pokémon, his origin is unknown, making him thr most mysterious entity in the universe.

God (South Park) - In one of the episodes of the show, the God is revealed to be a cat like thing with head and feet of a Hippo that is way smaller than his son, Jesus.

King Liniere (Panty and Stocking) - Father of Panty and Stocking, who rules Heaven with his wife. He looks like a bearded man, but he is unique enough to get a pass. His lower body looks like a sculpture with his junk hanging out at all times, which makes him look kinda funny.

Theories that suggest that character may be a godly entity or has powers beyond comprehension, sometimes beyond it's own understanding or knowledge, basically being Gods who don't realize their own godliness.

Sienduk's Winnie the Pooh theory - Russian Youtuber by the name of Sienduk, proposed a theory that Russian Winnie The Pooh is a godly entity who is able to bend his own reality to his will. Theory states that due to Christopher Robin's absence in the narrative, which would technically make all characters non-sentient plushies, Winnie became the ruler of his own world, and is capable of shifting reality however he wants. The theory also implies that Winnie doesn't actually realize that he has unlimited power, and that he doesn't know how to control it. Like how animation error of him falling of a tree, landing on a branch that he landed on before, could be evidence of him being able to teleport. Or how a bush he lands on after the fall, transformed into a puddle for him to use as a body paint to disguise as a cloud, like he subconsciously manifested the puddle when he thought of the whole "Operation: Cloud" on his walk to the tree. Another fun detail he mentions is that in second episode, where Winnie, Piglet and Rabbit are dining at the table, the table is drawn using Reverse Perspective, which is used in Orthodox Christian Iconography, with three characters representing Father (Winnie), Piglet (Son) and Holy Spirit (The Rabbit). Even though the theory is mostly meant as a joke, still fun to think about.

Alex Bale's Cars theory - Theory states that Mater's tall tales imply that Mater has ability to manifest his tales into reality. The evidence being that despite in his story about being an astronaut he clearly had his blue paint job, somehow Lightning McQueen was accompanying him through the adventure, even though it wouldn't be possible, since they only met when Mater became rusty and brown. The theory implies that Mater is a godly entity that doesn't realize, or at least acts like it, that he has powers of manifestation.

Tom Bombadil being a God - Tom Bomabdil is a character from Lord of the Rings, who doesn't seem to have too much plot significance. Despite that, he is said to be one of the most powerful entities in the world, despite being some weird bush guy living in the woods. Despite Tolkien stating that Tom is not a God, many people say that he may be something similar. But to be fair, even Tolkien doesn't really know what he is supposed to be, only describing him as a "spirit of vanishing countryside".
