I hit a pothole a few weeks back and ever since the front end has been clunking over bumps and more recently it’s gotten worse and it clunk when steering as well. I got under the car and jacked it up and nothing seemed too bad, a lot of the front end is new anyways. The only thing I could find maybe having too much play is the lower control arms but it doesn’t seem to bad to me. Thoughts?
Does anyone have any advice or knowledge on finding/buying/importing the power folding mirrors that came on the European KJ? I’m having a hard time finding them. I found the switch quite easily but not the actual mirror.
Title describes, there’s a whirring noise that gets louder/faster with the accelerator from the front diff and at 30-40mph it develops a knocking noise. Pulled over and am not driving the car. Any thoughts?
Does anybody have any idea how to get the CV axle into the differential? Mine gets stuck and won’t go past and clipping with the c clip.
I’m pulling the 4wd system out of an 06 for my 05 tomorrow. Anything I should know? I’m grabbing the driveshafts, transfer case, transmission extension, and mounting hardware. I plan to just drop the whole trans/t-case assembly and separate them once it’s out.
I’ve been chasing this intermittent starting issue for months now. It seemingly just does it whenever the hell it wants. There’s no consistency. It will every so often struggle to start and then after a few tries it starts right up with no issue. Then it won’t have any trouble starting for another few weeks before doing it again. No codes. New battery/starter, CKP sensor, fuel pump, etc. Has anyone had a similar issue?
I’m planning on driving my 2005 Jeep Liberty up the coast this summer, beginning in Florida, ending in Quebec, Canada, and then back down to Florida. Total of 12 stops. Should be a total of 3700 miles or 62 hours of drive time. What should I prepare for and inspect on the Liberty before going? What should I bring with me?
Does anybody know why the receipt printer is double cutting and how to stop it?
