Hi, I’m Glacier. I don’t really know what to put in these posts so uh, please bear with me.

I’m a Splatlandian born and raised, but moved to Inkopolis at around fifteen, and I honestly don’t plan to go back any time soon. I currently live with my best friend (and only friend) Olivia; she says she’ll make her own intro post soon.

I deeply dislike battling for reasons I won’t say; I don’t wanna say why but it’s related to some scary stuff so... plus I don’t think this is the right place to traumadump anyway.

I love to listen to music; Vocaloid is my jam and I love love love a certain twindrilled diva. I also love to listen to our usual fintastic musicians, but I’m pretty sure most of us do anyway... don’t tell anyone, but Shiver’s my oshi.

I’m not much of a gamer, but I do like to play casually from time to time. I write a lot, but it’s mostly poetry and unfinished stories and the like. My favorite kind of poem? Villanelles hands down.

Lastly, I can not draw for the life of me, and let’s just say I can’t be trusted with a camera; seriously Olivia thinks I take blurry and odd-angle shots on purpose but I promise it’s not!

So long story short, I share an apartment with my best friend, and lately I’ve been obsessed with the cute little guys that make noises when you interact with them; you know the ones! (I think they’re called Squid Friends? Weird name to market under but I don’t judge.) Anyway, I’m saving up some cash to start a collection but my friend’s worried they’ll jumpscare her in the middle of the night. I still want them though! Please help me out. Sorry for the lack of images it’s for privacy reasons.

Hi everyone. I thought I’d ask this but uh, for those of you who don’t like to battle or anything like that, what do you do to pass the time? I’m uh, kinda bored and want some ideas while my friend is off moving towers around or picking up clams or something. (Doubt anyone will see this but I thought I’d just give this a shot.)

In all seriousness I was thinking of writing something centered around Rei and one of the questions I thought of was whether she has a male counterpart that someone made or not; I thought that since there were so many Genderbend Fanloids of so many other characters I thought I might ask.

Still deciding on whether this is grounds to make my universe‘s versions of Miku and Neru into an actual couple but I thought I’d share this to see if you guys think this ship is actually a ship or something just considered a beyond friends thing. I know this isn’t any flashy art but I thought I’d share some writing I did when creating Neru’s page on the doc.

This is taken straight from the doc but here’s what I wrote:

A bit of a fun fact: Neru met Miku in elementary school, since back then, she shared a recess period with her. Miku, who was in third grade at the time, had been sitting on the swings alone, chewing on her hair and looking around nervously. Neru, who was just looking for something to do, walked over to the sad little girl with twintails, and asked if she could join her, since there was no one else here. To Neru’s surprise, Miku shook her head and kinda kicked Neru backward into a pole; to this day Neru could quote the exact words Miku had said during that moment: “B-back off, y-you b-baka!” In response to the little Miku’s attempt to push her away, Neru just casually looked at her as if nothing happened, and asked again if she could join her. Again, Miku tried to fight back, only for Neru to stop her. “Look,” Neru had said to Miku in the most calmest way she could manage, “I know fourth graders can run around and act like kings and queens of the school. But I’m not here to boss you around.” Slowly stopping the swing Miku was on, Neru took her hand and squeezed it gently, as a show of understanding and kindness. She too had been bullied by the rest of the fourth graders, even though she was in the same grade as them, and throughout the recess period and into lunch time, Neru basically made sure that no one surprise-attacked the twin-tailed girl out of nowhere. Nowadays, Neru would describe that day she met Miku as the first day she truly learned what empathy felt like. Even now, Neru wonders if that was the first time she truly felt an emotion that was her own.

Do you treat the Vocaloid and Synth V versions of Gumi as the same person or different people? If you do, how many Gumis run around your head, and do you call them by different names? Do you consider them related?

If you don’t view the various Gumis as different Gumis, why not? Is it too confusing, or do you just simply view it as her growing up over time?

Also, if you could give her a surname similar to her other counterparts, i.e. Miku, Teto, Una, etc., what would it be and why?

Asking out of curiosity and also because I like to write and I want some Gumi inspiration.
