Joining the gang, do you think those PSU I salvaged at work could fit a bc250 build ?
Their connectors are server ones, if you know where I could find breakout boards, it would be a great help
Accidentally shorted my power bank
I have been using this power bank for a few years, but it's plastic case have degraded a lot. While measuring its internal components to 3D print a new case, I accidentally touched both sides with a metal caliper, causing a short circuit for a fraction of second. It seems to still be working fine, but as you can see, it have been damaged. My questions are the following:
- Could internal components been damaged from this incident ? It seems to still be working fine (I tried plugging a low-power light in it)
- Is it dangerous to use as-is ?
- Can I simply add solder to the damaged parts ? Thanks a lot in advance for your answers
