Is it worth undervolting my Ryzen 7 5800X3D if temperatures are already okay?
Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and I'm wondering if it's worth undervolting.
My current setup:
- Ryzen 7 5800X3D
- Gigabyte B550M AORUS Elite
- DeepCool AK620 Digital SE
- RTX 2070 Super
- G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB (2×8GB) DDR4-3200
Current temperatures:
- Around 70–76°C while gaming with the air conditioning on.
- Around 83–85°C while gaming when my room is about 31–33°C (no air conditioning).
The CPU is completely stable, and I haven't noticed any thermal throttling.
Others say to leave everything stock if there aren't any issues.
