Did anyone notice the price hike on food over the summer?

From what I can observe right now, it appears a bunch of items got a 20 cent hike, and some got hit worse, with a 1$ hike on my favorite budget salad bowl at Cantina

It also appears that for the crossroads Asian bowl, a 1.59$ rice surcharge is now applied compared to rice being free last year

Honestly I can't really complain because RIT price gouging is like finding water in an ocean, but just wondering if anyone else noticed other things related to this as well

Free Handshake AI thingy

Scam or not I'm not claiming this either way

but if it's legit I wonder if this is new, something the school actively invested in, or just like a random company giving free ai stuff

Therapy is an instance of survivorship bias

I absolutely hate it when people go "Just go to therapy" like it's some pancea

My experience, I was treated like a lobotomized kid as a child with the therapist lecturing me many times on the importance of empathy like as if I couldn't feel that. Then when I decided to go another therapy, I was drilled with questions like "Why do you think you are like this?" Hell do I know why I'm like this, brain defect?

And people always say "you need good therapists", while knowing full well those aren't easily accessible.

Can therapy help with unemployment? Can therapy help with finding your partner?

I'm going to get a lot of hate for this but YOU CAN'T MEDICATE OR GET THERAPY FOR SOCIETAL NORMS. Those that "got out of therapy", I also did, by severe masking. I was able to act composed, a model example of a good student, while struggling with problems internally. I mean that statistic gets added to "successful therapy" in reality it doesn't mean anything

Without a full understanding of consiousness and the lack of mind reading tools STOP ASSUMING ITLL WORK FOR ALL OF US.

RIT denying additional financial aid

I am paying 13% more post-aid offer than I did last year, and they say they cannot provide more aid while gouging the hell outta tuition every year. All this while the federal and state aid have not gone up or have gone up by a couple of dollars.

Sickening.
