Would Lidar work in a Vantablack room?

Would a room a Vantablack room be possible to map out with Lidar? If not, what would work? I'm writing a short story that involves a room made of vantablack, and would like the characters to actually map out the room, is it possible with real current technology?

Slow motion is almost never good

Maybe this isn’t a rare opinion? Anyway this is mostly for games but also true of films. I never enjoy slow motion mechanics in games. I haven’t played max Payne which maybe does it better since the whole game is designed around the bullet time mechanic but any other shoot that has one is just a bore to play

For example I recently played an indie game shooter called “echo point nova” which is a pretty damn cool game with some cool buuld variety. But the first “mod” you’re given to change how you play is just a slow motion button. Used it once and never again, just didn’t have a mod until a bit later in the game. I just don’t find such a mechanic engaging, it’s just a temporary easy mode button. It’s so much more satisfying to pull of some skill shot while moving at light speed instead of slowing everything down and making it really easy

Or Zack Snyders constant use of slow motion, or honestly any film where a slow motion scene is used in an uninteresting way, that could easily be far more impressive if it was filmed and played at regular speed

Anyway it’s not a big issue but it’s always a turn off when a game or film has some slow motion mechanic and I pretty much always ignore it completely when possible

Felt a pop in my brain

So I’ve actually had this many times since I was a kid but I’m just now wondering if it could be signs of something like an aneurysm. Sometimes when I turn my head too quick, I feel a like pop in in head and a kind of temporary numbness where the pop happens. I don’t get a headache and the numbness lasts for like a minute. Should I be worried?
