Fit for work exam ?s for 75 yo father

South Carolina SC.
My dad is a night ranger for a county park. He makes sure everyone is out of park at close, locks gates, watches for people sneaking, and supports as needed. Typically he works like 6p-1a and he is alone much of his shift.

He is 75 years old and does have controlled Parkinson’s (no tremors with meds) so sees a neurologist and had bypass surgery two years ago and had post op delirium so missed about a two months of work when that occurred.
I am cleared to be at all of his appointments bc his memory is that of a 75 year old guy that doesn’t pay good attention, but his neurologist doctor said he was doing well at his appointment last week.
He’s worked there four years so did miss time when he had his bypass surgery.

He drives a park ranger vehicle from one park to the other to lock gates at night. His supervisor radioed him the other night to go give a car a battery jump that was dead near the park.
He did and when he was back on the road driving the hood flew up and cracked the windshield bc it didn’t latch when he shut it.
They had him take an immediate drug test/alcohol test which he passed he doesn’t use either.

They called today to say he has to see their doctor for a fit for duty exam. He is very distraught that they are going to fire him and I kind of feel like it seems that way too.
Questions:
-Bc I am cleared for his personal medical awareness, can I attend (I assume no). He lives in my garage apartment and I go to most of his personal doctor appointments.
-I am reading that he should only be asked questions that directly relate to his duties, but how do I ensure this seems followed?
-Anything I should tell him to ask the doctor or look for or to interject if certain things are said / requested / asked?
-I assume he wouldn’t be able to request accommodations as he is the only person there much or his shift so not driving isn’t an option or is this something I should be asking?
-as it is being requested by the employer and they are paying, does he get records of all that say etc?
-physically he clearly is able to do what his job entails, I assume they are looking at his cognitive and driving, which seems hard for one doctor to assess when he has a neurologist he’s been seeing twice a year for 5+ years.
-does he provide them with all of his medicines / medical history even though all may not be directly relative to his role

Of note - his primary doctor, cardiologist, and neurologist all know he drives (and specifically at work) and all encourage him to keep working as it’s good for his social engagement etc. None of them have told him not to drive.

Black flashes lg c4 oled 77

I have a c4 83 inch that’s about a year and a half old.

Randomly when streaming through various apps, the screen will momentarily black out 3 or 4 times (less than a second each time). It doesn’t seem like bad internet and the sound continues. Def seems different than like a buffering lapse.
It doesn’t happen when my son plays ps5, but happens on various other apps such as Netflix / hbo / prime / etc. we have through the tv itself.

I unplugged everything and it still seems to do it.

Lg c4 oled 77”
Any insight or troubleshooting suggestions?

Corded apple CarPlay

My apple carplay stopped working. It’s a 2022 so it’s wired, and the screen says “make sure the usb is connected properly”. However, the phone is charging so it seems connected and the cord is working.

Any insight?

Waterproof hiking shoes

Coming June 8-14. With kiddos so won’t do any trails over 2 miles or so.

With the late snow etc, are waterproof shoes a must? I have trail shoes that aren’t waterproof but may need to upgrade prior.

Itinerary suggestions.

Two families traveling from Charleston, SC June 8-14.
4 adults mid 40s & 4 kids 6, 10, 11, 13
Rented passenger ford transit with AWD (airport pickup)
Staying in a cabin on Shadow Mountain Lake beside the marina

Monday 6/8:
Flight (southwest) arrives in Denver at 11:25a. Drive to cabin. Grocery run. Settle in cabin.

Tuesday 6/9:
Drive to Georgetown Loop train (southwest of where we are) to do train in morning. Drive to Denver for some lunch and a quick tourist stop TBD. Eve Cubs @ Rockies. Late drive home.

Wednesday 6/10:
Explore Grand Lake then drive across to Estes Park to explore. Likely dinner in EP.
Maybe hot sulphur hot springs in eve (open later than I expected)

Thursday 6/11:
7a entry for RMNP for Bear Lake / trail ridge road

Friday 6/12:
Rent pontoon from marina to poke around on lakes
Maybe hot springs in eve

Sat 6/13:
RMNP

Sunday 6/14:
Clean up / pack / Drive to Denver to be at airport by noon for 3p flight

Notes:
Will do a few easy trails likely under around 2 miles each. One of the other adults is choosing the trails / lakes to view.

Other targeted things during two days in RMNP - Alberta falls, emerald lake, krummholz trees, coyote valley trail, Adam’s falls, mt baldy.

Potentially would like to do the shining tour at the hotel in EP (without the kids).

Love seeing animals and we’ve never seen a moose!

Would love some unique food spots good for kids too in Denver or EP or GL.

Any other cool spots / things missing? In MT we went to a cool ghost town and some caves. In ME went to a lumberjack show. We love quirky things.

Seems aggressive but I feel like we are doing much less than other trips with this group (Montana / Yellowstone ….. Acadia / coastal ME ….. Anna Maria Island Fl)
In ME we drove a ton so driving around doesn’t really scare us.

Extended hitch hit black bumper leaving an indented area. No paint damage.

Planning to not file a claim as the only visible thing I can see is the indented black plastic. It isn’t event broken or anything

Are there other things I should look for?
Lift gate opening / back up camera & sensors / etc? All seem ok.
