My Pixel Bricked and Google Did Nothing....thanks for nothing Google
LEAVE GOOGLE PIXEL NOW!!! My Pixel 9 Pro XL that I purchased in Jan 2025 completely bricked yesterday. I woke up with the notice on my phone that the phone shut down due to overheating. Then as the morning went along the battery dropped very quickly and the continued to stay hot. About 4 hours into the morning, suddenly I lost ALL network connectivity: the sim was grayed out in the network settings and the IMEI numbers said "unknow'. I tried ALL suggested methods to restore that I could find, even a factory reset, nothing.....even spending about an hour with TMobile tech support, re-instating the sim and even trying to force an esim, all with no success. I contacted Google support on 7-2-26 and was told by agent Bruce that my phone was under warranty and that I could take it to an authorized repair shop or mail it in....I opted for the local shop, they said they could not repair that. So today, I (7-3-26) I contacted support again, and agent Chen said my phone was out of warranty. I sent him the case # and chat record of what I was promised on 7-2-26, but to no avail....he even asked his higher team and they would not budge no matter what the agent told me, and that I have record of on 7-2-26. I'm done with being a Pixel loyalists & I suggest you do the same. I still owe monthly to my carrier for this phone. Thanks for nothing Google
