Hello Mechanics,

I have been dealing with a leaky power steering leak for over 3 years.
I had been using the Lucas power steering stop leak and it holds up fairly well, so that I don't have to top-off the fluid so often.

So here it is in February and it was freezing cold out.
I drove to walmart and everything was fine.
I come out and get back in the car and drive off, but my steering is so stiff I could barely turn the wheel.

I assume this is a rack and pinion issue?
I still drive it. Yes, it's hard to turn, but easier if I'm moving.

Is there any quick-fix to help this issue, or is it time to junk the car?
It has 300,000 miles and I just want to keep riding until it's flat-lined and ready for the mortician.
