Mourning dove adolescent needs help(?)

Over the 4th of July, a bid smacked right into my grandma’s window while we were visiting. I walked away thinking that the bird was going to get up and then walk away like some usually do, but this one stood around, and was still there after everything.

I took it inside to make sure the bird is ok and had a place to recover, and the bird hasn’t had any food or water for a bit (since yesterday) to make sure it wouldn’t accidentally choke or have more problems with it.

This morning I took the bird outside to walk around and make sure it could mabye fly away since everything happened, but I came back to it and it’s still having problems with flying, extending its right wing and and honestly its behavior is reminding me of an animal with a concussion.

My question is, should I leave the bird in the underbrush and come back, or keep it in a box until tomorrow and then go up to the wildlife rehab and get the bird checked out? I’m really worried since I know fledglings have issues flying but this one seems to be still affected by hitting the window.
