Thoughts on season 2
I liked S2 a lot, and it had a lot of great moments, but there are some things that I kinda had issues with, but maybe that is because I did not fully understand them. The pacing seems to be a little off to me since they have only been there a week, and they have seemingly formed extremely strong connections willing to defend the horrendous criminals, as well as being able to destroy the Tensen with relatively little repercussions. I get that the Tensen are weaker at night, but is it really to the point that they can get destroyed in a 1v1 like Zhu Jin, or cut in half with a single slash? It just seems really dumb that they hyped these "gods" up so much, and they even get the jump on our main characters, yet still get smoked. They were studying Tao for centuries, and yet still are beaten by people who have only learned to control/ master it in the last 2-3 days? If there is an explanation for this, please let me know, or if the anime failed to do something that the manga said or explained, also let me know, because otherwise, I was a little disappointed with the series' final episodes and where the series is heading
