My pride and joy

Himrod grapes, currently grown in a pot in my greenhouse, this is their 3 year since being bought as a cutting from Walmart.

I also have a few grapes coming in on a second year Niagara vine and my Concord grapes are only one year old but I can't wait to see some production in the next few years.

Everything I own is growing in pots until I get my own land to plant in.

It's been a wild year

My garden is way behind where it was last year, we got really hot dry weather followed by cold humid weather, rain but it's never enough to actually water everything. Blossom end rot and fruit splitting.

But at the end of the day it's still my happy place

Am I stupid when it comes to taxes? Please explain like I am

So I have always been told you should try to maximize your claims on your taxes to ensure you don't get hit with more taxes.

However when you claim a loss you are telling the bank you don't make any money.

What is the balancing act here?

I can claim less expenses and have more income for the lender but then I'm paying more taxes.

Someone help me out here because I'm dumb

Help with outlet!!

Had an outlet in the kitchen start sparking and smoking randomly without anything being plugged in. I turned off the breakers and replaced the outlet as it seemed to have been a short between the two hot wires and I could see melted plastic on the outlet.

Replaced with a brand new outlet and now it won't work at all, no power (obviously I turned the breaker back on) so I'm at a complete loss.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on or what I might have done wrong?

I'm no expert but I've done my fair share of electrical work over the years but haven't seen this before. Other outlets on the same wall and breaker system never sparked and still work fine

Thanks in advance
