Account linking not working in Alexa

I have just set up my NF06. It works fine with the native app but when I try to link it with Alexa it reaches up to the account linking stage and then fails. Can anyone suggest how to fix it?

Passed PLAB but never worked in the UK — can you still get general registration in Australia without AMC Clinical?

A lot of IMGs assume that if they’ve passed PLAB but never worked in the UK, it won’t help them much for Australia.
That’s not completely true.
PLAB does not give you any direct registration benefit in Australia by itself. You cannot simply pass PLAB and start working in Australia.
But PLAB can still be useful because it may make you eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway later.
The usual issue is the work experience requirement.
For the Competent Authority Pathway, you need:
PLAB 1 and PLAB 2
12 months of supervised practice
The experience must be completed after PLAB
Many people think this work experience has to be in the UK.
It does not necessarily have to be in the UK.
It can be completed in Australia as supervised practice.
So one possible route is:
Pass PLAB 1 and PLAB 2
Come to Australia
Sit the AMC MCQ exam
Find a job with limited registration
Work under supervision in Australia
Complete 47 weeks full-time equivalent supervised practice
Apply through the Competent Authority Pathway
Progress to general registration
So in simple terms:
PLAB may not help you directly, but it can help you avoid the AMC Clinical exam later.
Instead of doing AMC MCQ + AMC Clinical, some doctors may be able to do:
PLAB + AMC MCQ + 1 year supervised Australian practice → Competent Authority Pathway → General Registration
This is especially useful for doctors who have passed PLAB but never got UK work experience.
Of course, you still need to meet all Medical Board/AHPRA requirements, and job availability can vary.
But if you already have PLAB, don’t assume it is useless for Australia. It may still give you a pathway to general registration without AMC Clinical.

Multiple Devices and Multiple forms

How many of you feel guilty about purchasing more than one Kindle devices? I have an old Kindle from 2014 and then a new Kindle paper white from 2022 and I recently bought a Kindle Color Soft 2025. Although I do not know why I did that and now I've started reading in Kindle Color Soft.

I feel like the color and the brightness is a bit different, a bit dimmer and I can still see a bit of a pixel but I think I'm going to keep it and read on it. How many of you have been doing this for no apparent reason? By the way, I also have boox reader as well which I use to read other things usually on ReadWise reading app where I have collection of the non-Amazon books and articles and other things.

And the other question I have is, I find it convenient to read on Kindle but what I find really conflicting is I buy books on Kindle, I read on Kindle but at the same time I buy physical books and I'm maintaining a small library at home. Is this something that you guys do as well? I'm not really sure why I would buy the physical books (and I sometimes read them as well) but I have the same book on my Kindle or boox as well. Sometimes I feel really conflicted about this and I think I'm just seeking validation from fellow readers and users or Or if someone has a better workflow and a tool to decide which books to read on Kindle and which to read on physical form, I would be grateful to listen to your story.
