Cinderella in her mothers dress 🩷

I follow an artist on Tik Tok named Falon the Fairy Godmother. I saw her make a recreation of Cinderella’s mother’s dress from the 75th anniversary Cinderella Doll. So I contacted her to see if she would do another recreation for me, she agreed and I am so grateful! I highly doubt I will find Sax Fifth avenue Cinderella but honestly now that I have this doll, I don’t even care. She is gorgeous and I think this dress is perfect. I always loved her mother’s dress and it was a really special moment in the movie. If any of you are interested in customizing dolls, or restoring a doll I would highly recommend following Falon, she is truly talented and I love her content.

PS: I am looking for leads on where I can find GusGus and her other mice / bird friends? I also want to find an artist to make a potion for Yzma- I might try this one, hot pink resin in a mini bottle I just have find the right shape.

They finally came, their box was massive. They are so well done the details are perfect! My husband is convinced his jacket was lighter in the movie and now we are discussing chestnut vs auburn. I wonder if they would ever make a Nanny with a basket of 15 puppies?

Random acts of Kindness

I ordered this last week on Mercari from a really nice person. She told me after I purchased that she put a free gift inside. What a nice surprise! She sent the fin and top of live action Ariel! I am still looking for a live action Ariel in the 17” so I’m not sure what I’d do with two fins. My goal is to collect all of the 17” Ariel’s. I am not crafty enough to be able to recreate or customize them the way I see so many people do successfully with theirs.

For anyone who may have missed any of their targets this morning. I think that Esmerelda and Redd are really awesome. Why does Redd look like Shania Twain to me? 🤦‍♂️ 😂 like just her face. She is very rad. Both the doll and Shania.

On 2nd thought (and I am SO glad I did!!!).

After feeling extremely defeated and in my feelings this morning I went for a dog walk. I came back in fed the girls, decided “why not stranger things have happened.” Thanks to this Reddit post(a few topic down; the link all
you fabulous people added you thank you!!!) I checked and I was able to buy Anita and Roger using the app!!!! Lucky day. 🎉 Thank you everyone who has been posting about this!!! Also to all the people who share their collections and input. Have a fabulous day 💖

I have been working on a new display. I should have measured I would prefer the 17” to be more eye level. Mostly because my husband told me he wants the legos in their own display 😂

45M and 40M married couple wondering when is too late to adopt.

Hi Reddit Readers,

My husband and I have been married for eleven years, together for 17 years. We are both late bloomers who have experienced delayed adolescence due to growing up queer in the 80’s/90’s in conservative environments with conservative families. We aren’t sure if we are too late to start this journey. About four years ago we were all in both working on careers. We’re now at a point where we can create a little more space for home and would love to expand our family but understand that this process is timely and expensive. We already also both really horrified by the cultural and political changes in the US. We’re half way considering moving to the UK, New Zealand or Canada but honestly we may stick out even more overseas (at least UK and New Zealand). We love where we live, both from military families and are not wanting to leave- more concerned for safety depending how crazy things continue to get. We both have good careers that are in high demand. Just a lot of anxiety about current events. (Everyone Vote in November please. 🙏)
Does anyone have resources on this topic? We don’t know any LGBTQIA+ or parents that are starting in their 40’s- but we would like to. If anyone can point us in the direction of people who have had this experience we would love to check it out. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
