I follow an artist on Tik Tok named Falon the Fairy Godmother. I saw her make a recreation of Cinderella’s mother’s dress from the 75th anniversary Cinderella Doll. So I contacted her to see if she would do another recreation for me, she agreed and I am so grateful! I highly doubt I will find Sax Fifth avenue Cinderella but honestly now that I have this doll, I don’t even care. She is gorgeous and I think this dress is perfect. I always loved her mother’s dress and it was a really special moment in the movie. If any of you are interested in customizing dolls, or restoring a doll I would highly recommend following Falon, she is truly talented and I love her content.
PS: I am looking for leads on where I can find GusGus and her other mice / bird friends? I also want to find an artist to make a potion for Yzma- I might try this one, hot pink resin in a mini bottle I just have find the right shape.

The last three pucs were when the nightgown was Finished this took me 5 hours no patterns just free style and the neckline is functional i call this nightgown the alice nightie

Here she is finally. This doll has confused me so much. I bought her second hand deboxed and immediately took her hair down when I got my hands on her ready to see what I was working with and begin the reroot as soon as I possibly could. However, to my surprise despite having an updo she had absolutely no product and a TON of thick beautiful soft hair. I thought she would do fine without but I noticed a couple different lengths of her hair after washing and brushing so almost half of my day was spent washing, drying, and yes even straightening her hair (took forever with the low heat). She’s far from done of course but this is the base I’m working off of. I considered chopping off the extra long hair but one thing about me is I need my dolls with the longest length possible. I don’t think the length matters as I ordered her yellow meadow/picnic dress and accessories and that style has a bit of a ponytail and curling going on so I don’t think it’ll show through. That said, I am considering doing a partial reroot between the uneven layers of hair to make it look more uniform and then giving her a trim before curling.
Does anyone have any tips on how I could get her hair to look like in the movie?
