Help! Running out of things to try.

I've had my Centauri Carbon 1 for a few months. I initially printed a few terrain sets with 0.4mm and was really happy with them. Then I did a few mini with a 0.2mm with dome good results. I didn't use for a few weeks and tried to ho back to terrain at 0.4mm but have had days and days of failed prints.

I've tried a running calibration, cold pulls, scrubbingbuild plate with dish soap and rinsing ut keep getting a print bed covered in plastic spaghetti. It looks like the flow of filament is okay and the first layers are sticking but when I check back it's gone wrong.

Any ideas of what else I should try?

Help needed with terrain @0.4mm

Hi all, I have previously printed a few sets of terrain on my Centauri Carbon with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12mm layer height. I switched to a 0.2mm nozzle to try printing some minis and have gone back to the 0.4mm to do some more terrain (part of same set), but have woken up to a printer full of spaghetti the last couple of days. First couple of layers seemed to go down alright last night. I didn't save the settings I used first time round, they were pretty basic, but have tried picking up a 0.4mm specific set of settings from here but I must have got something wrong somewhere. I plan to go back to basics but was hoping to use this profile for larger vehicles so it would be great to understand where I've gone wrong and fix it if possible.

Thanks in advance

Gore Krusha Mega Walker advice

Hi all, I am planning on printing the Gore Krusha Mega Walker (Stompa Proxy) on my Centauri Carbon. Up until now I have printed various Ruins sets on a 0.4mm nozzle and more recently some miniatures on a 0.2mm nozzle which have turned out pretty good based on OsbscuraNox settings.

This will be the largest model I attempt to print and was wondering if anyone has any advice on large models. The readme file suggests 0.05 - 0.075 layer heights, should I just stick with the 0.2mm nozzle and the ObscuraNox settings? Should I expect it to take weeks to print? Any top tips to reduce the time?

Many thanks in advance.

Help with FLQ calibration

Hi all, I've been trying to follow the ObscuraNox / Dungeons and Derps calibration guide. Square on the left was first attempt with the ObscuraNox 2.0 settings on a Centauri Carbon with SUNLU PLA 2.0+, 0.2 nozzle and 0.12mm first layer height. I ran the in built calibration (levelling etc) on the machine prior to running the test. Based on the video my reading was the nozzle may have been scraping, so I edited the filament G Code by {0.02}, but if anything that has made it slightly worse (square on right). Any advice on getting a smoother first layer or is the one on the left good enough for printing decent quality miniatures and I should move onto the next calibration test?

Thanks in advance!

Help with hot end blockage

I have a PLA filament blockage in the top of my hot end. I managed to fix one in the machine head with the filament feeds in but couldn't pull this out out of poke it through. Tried heating and inserting needle up the nozzle but can't seem to dislodge. The needle goes as far up the nozzle as you can see in the second pic. Any tips to fix or do I need a new hot end? Can I remove the nozzle to gain access to the top portion of the hot end or something?

Speedwaaagh flamer truck

Hi folks, what do we think of filling a truck with 10 burna boys in 11th. You can yeet them 24" towards an objective with assault. They can re-roll wounds within 6" if enemy is on objective and you could use mobile dakka storm to give them T6 flamers. There will be a lot of stuff standing on objectives in 11th so could be useful to launch forwards. Could even add a Mek with Dakkamek to give them Rapid Fire 1.

I'm new to printing and I'm printing a set of Gothic Ruins from Fabricators Lair. I have used the standard settings with the 0.4 nozzle with the exception of reducing layer height to 0.12mm, Outer wall width to 0.35mm, wall printing order to Outer/Inner and Gyroid infill.

I'm looking at around 14 hrs to print a couple of the wall pieces currently. Any advice on settings I could tweak to speed things up without any noticeable drops in quality? Would layer height be the main one?

Many thanks for any tips!

Help! I'm probably being an idiot but I can't seem to get the filament to load for my first print. I can see it feeding through the tube until I can't push anymore but it doesn't seem to grab on. Any advice, is it user error or some sort of blockage / incorrect setup?

Appreciate any help greatly!
