Where have you spread ashes?

I’ve just seen the post about someone wanting a few pebbles from a beach to commemorate a deceased relative.

It got me thinking of my brothers and I surreptitiously spreading the ashes of first my dad and then my mum in a well-known beauty spot, one of their favourite places so they could be together.

Have you scattered a loved one's ashes in an unusual (or unusual) place?

Something is missing from 5's coverage of the Tour De France (Highlights).

I watch the highlights every year. Up to this year it’s been a delight. Snippets of information, interesting facts and sometimes amusing commentary as well as good coverage of the race. The aerial shots have been informative and picturesque. This year, that’s gone.

It’s just bland and samey, all the way through. Now I just watch the first and last ten minutes.

Can AI be useful?

I’m fairly certain I have aphantasia. Recently, I’ve been using AI to generate book illustrations. I’ll copy a block of text (for example, the description of a professor's study) and use it to generate an image. I’ve found that this can help to bring the book alive for me.

I’d much prefer to buy an illustrated version but they don’t always (or often) exist.
