You know why I think the Bato rumor of his arrest is false? Cos ang sobrang chill lang ng vloggers/lespu anak niya mag post on other matters

Whereas contrary to the Senate siege that happened a couple of months back when the NBI tried to arrest Bato who suddenly resurfaced for the Senate leadership change, during the unfolding of the drama grabe ang post ng anak niya, calling about divine intervention daw to protect his father from evil.

Pero right now? Zilch. Nada. Post lang ng post on basketball matters since yesterday.

What is up with the Bisaya and their inferiority complex?

When I was in the Army back in the day halos lahat ng sulok ng Pilipinas napuntahan ko na. And each region has their strengths and weaknesses. Altho some regions, if we are being honest, has more strengths than others.

As someone from Visayas as well, but not Bisaya regions (if you get the sub-cultural nuance), either Bisaya portions of Visayas Regions or Mindanao really has some of the deepest inferiority complex I have ever seen.

Ever since nakaupo si Duts, at karton na ngayon, grabe pa rin ka divisive mga Bisaya. Like it's us against Imperial Manila and their Luzon underlings.

The only Visayas I like are Ilonggos, since I went there a year or so ago with a work related engagement related sa ASEAN Summit. Like they are proud of their local Ilonggo roots, their highly developing city, and are not in any way intimidated or have great animosity of those from Luzon. (Bonus points ang Iloilo sa akin kasi hindi sila DDS territory, surprisingly haha)

Mga Bisaya lang talaga may inferiority complex. It's us against them fcking mentality. Which was exacerbated after the death of Baterbonia. Inalagaan daw ng Mindanao at pinatay lang ng taga Luzon bullshit.

This post is sooo much cringe and so full of brainrot that it is devoid of anything intelligent.

We all know APC will vote Not Guilty regardless of the outcome. But could he at least, AT LEAST, pretend to be neutral in the proceedings? LOL

What would I do if I were BBM?

Sassot is the number #1 Chinese propagandist in the country since she has direct ties to the CCP. Other DDS vloggers more or less takes their lead and narrative from him.

The country's defense and foreign policies are frequently undermined by Sassot and the DDS vloggers.

If I were BBM,

I would get the DOJ and other relevant agencies concerned to file numerous cyberlibel and other cases against him. Then,

I would reach out to China, induce a very productive meeting that can diffuse the WPS/SCS situation in which it would be mutually beneficial on both sides without severe concessions (si SND and DFA Sec na bahala sa legal and policy minutiae dito), but as a condition they will extradite Sassot back in the Philippines.

This is possible since we have an extradition treaty with China in 2001 and fully implementable starting 2006.

If the long arm of the Philippine Government can reach Sassot in China, it would greatly put a great fear of the DDS vloggers here in the country. And maybe just stop spreading fake news and pro-China crap.

Just my two cents. Lol

A tale of two Filipino athletes 😭

Say what you will about BBM, but at least he gave Eala a grand welcome when she came home. Bumawi kahit papano ang gobyerno when she complained that she never received any support at the start of her career during the Duterte Administration.

Meanwhile, si Hidilyn despite giving pride to the country as a gold medalist was falsely and ridiculously tagged as part of an ouster plot 😭

Financial security? In today's economy? A hard truth

As someone who recently reached his 30s as an above average earner, it was only recently that my saving reached somewhere around 1.2 million. Yey diba? My college self would have been so proud.

Pero mygahd, hindi pa pala safety net yun no? Especially in today's time. Buy a car? Back to square one. It can buy a piece of land but it cannot build a house. Also, one major sickness in a hospital and it can all go away in an instant. If you're married and your wife got pregnant? Then instant caesarian? Post delivery complications? Poof.

Back in the day with that amount my parents can buy a decent house and lot in the city. And my 1.2mil did not move for the last two years because of personal and family needs. Sometimes it goes down to 1.1, then to 1.3 then finally levelling again to 1.2.

So what can it do? Just enough to rent a mid decent apartment with an aircondition, buy a flatscreen tv and a Playstation 4 (not 5 lol), order your favorite go-to coffee and food on Grab, and take at least one vacation outside the country every year (usually another ASEAN country cos that's the most budget friendly).

Basically it's just enough to make your current lifestyle a bit comfortable, but not enough to buy life-changing needs. Anybody else have that dilemma?

I remember so many people 🤣

So after last night's impeachment proceedings, I remember my college days back when I was part of a debate group in UP. I used to compete in inter-college debates, but never in inter-university debates cos grabe yung time and commitment diyan, and I always go out drinking most nights.

The topic there was should pork barrel be abolished. Our group was on the positive side (although personally we were against it). I remember my opponent from the negative side said something so moronic, so idiotic that my immediate reaction was this guy in the pic. Parang I was "how can someone say something so stupid?".

But apparently my reaction was understood by the supporters of the other college as someone who was caught off guard and was unable to reply. So they started clapping and cheering kasi I was at a loss of words. Eh sino ba hindi magka loss of words over someone saying so stupid at a debate (sorry I forgot the exact exchange there haha).

The supporters of the negative side kasi was from the hospitality industry, and while okay naman yung ibang debaters nila, dun ako na caught off guard sa aking direct counterpart.

The blind cheering of the supporters reminds me of the DDS who are only cheering based on their limited braincells, and only reacting based from the scripts of their vloggers. Seeing their comments regarding the photocopy, the laway ni Luistro, and direct personal attacks on the prosecution side as really made us reach a point na a big portion of our country is suffering from brainrot talaga, clapping and cheering over something not knowing how idiotic they are.

In hindsight, I really appreciate my debate background. Because years later when I was in the Army nagagamit ko talaga ang debating skills, kahit mga senior officers kaya ko makipagsagutan to prove my point. Especially during command meetings 🤣

We almost got into a brawl with off duty cops last night 😂

So for those who are familiar with my posts before, I separated from service sa Army last 2023 as an O3 (captain).

So last night our retired group commander who lived in the province messaged us that he will be in the city to process some post-retirement documents. Timing din na it was tgif so why not?

So we reached out to the other officers who are in the area if available sila. And we went to our usual tambayan before, a bar/grilled barbecue place that is near a police regional office. It was one of our go to places because even though it was on a landlocked and semi-mountainous area, they sell some of the biggest talaba ever 😂

So during dinner/inuman, it was our retired group commander (lieutenant colonel), a major (nasa sebisyo pa), ako (separated from service, and two captains (they were both lieutenants when I was in the service pa, and active pa rin).

Naturally, nakaabot ang usapan sa current security and political situation sa Pinas. And of course Chinese domestic operations ang pinag-usapan namin.

To those that are still in service, they shared (in general terms) of the current situation. How difficult it is to unravel the damage done since 2016. So lahat yan na discuss, from WPS, to political influence, POGO, and finally drugs from Chinese drug syndicates in Davao.

The major who was at this time (around 10pm) kinda tipsy na din, said in a loud voice "Eh ano magagawa natin kasi ang pinakamalaking criminal na sindicato sa Pilipinas ay mga Duterte!"

Out of the corner of my eye behind the major and our GC, is another table with another 5 or 6 guys drinking. And based on what they are wearing and their bearing, (polo shirts, crew cut hair, Merrell shoess, sling bags) they are policemen from the regional office not far from us. (Trust me, if matagal ka na sa serbisyo, lalo sa intelligence side, you can easily smell out mga kapwa tropa niyo kahit naka civilian attire haha).

So yun nga, when the major said it out loud, lumingon yung mga ibang pulis sa kabila. I quickly said, "uy sir, careful mga pulis ata yan sa likod niyo, baka magagalit na minumura mo idol nila."

He then said, "Wala akong pake! Parinig mo sa kanila na drug lord ang poon nila." Si GC tumawa, yung dalawang captains napa facepalm na lang habang tumatawa din. But I saw two of them look back again at our table, then said something to their group. And several more of them looked back at our table. Since nakatalikod si GC at si major, hindi nila makita pero ako at ang dalawang captains sa tabi ko kitang kita talaga na mejo papalag yung mga sa kabilang table.

Yung isa biglang tumayo and we assumed pupunta sa table namin to confront us, pero yung isa bigla siyang hinatak na umupo ulit. Probably to tell him to let it go.

I hope yung mga pulis na yun walang Reddit, otherwise malaman nila na I posted last night's near incident haha

Reply from a former Philippine Army, my honest take:

So to those familiar with my previous posts on political/defense matters, I served over 9 years in the Army and separated from service as an O-3 (captain).

In my recent scrolling in the news feed I frequently see DDS propaganda calling the 18 Marines heroes, and calling out politicians and other anti-DDS personalities for disrespecting their service. I even see posts both from active and retired uniformed posting several narratives such as those at the top, supporting them.

Every uniformed personnel who fought and died, and to those who were able to retire, or separate from service (like me), deserves the gratitude of the Filipino nation. I personally admire the marines for their tough bearing, especially when they fought and died alongside Army soldiers in Mindanao to keep it from falling apart against terrorist and rebel groups. Marines are also at the frontlines of our maritime frontier, serving as the vigilant eyes in the West Philippine Sea.

DDS propaganda criticizes politicians daw for degrading the 18 Marines despite their services.

BUT. Those gratitude stop short when those who separated from service get themselves involved in crime and political corruption. Especially those who got themselves involved allegedly in the "maleta" scandal with Zaldy Co and company.

Especially any Filipino with a thinking brain could see gaps in the truthfulness in their statements. Like images of Ping Lacson and Tito Sotto on a helicopter during the 2022 elections, anachronistic Iphone na binigay daw sa isang ex-Marine, loading of luggages na may pera daw pero loading pala yun ng OFWs in the Middle East.

And lastly, even if those allegations are true, ano na?They willingly allowed themselves to be employed by corrupt politicians, benefitted from it under the UniTeam alliance. And now all of a sudden na nagka fracture na sila, they are now suddenly heroes because of their anti-corruption stand on the DDS side? Since when are the DDS advocacies for good governance and anti-corruption since 2016?

Their past services in the military does not erase them of complicity if they intertwined themselves to corrupt politicians. Tama naman ang AFP GHQ at PMC Commandant na they should not be called Marines because they are long gone, and they only brought shame to the uniformed service. If na offend sila sa "kargador" na statement and tried to gaslight us with their past records of service, eh di f*** you, all 18 of you. A disgrace to the uniform.
