Disability Confident

My friend is dyslexic and applying for apprenticeships. Some employers are Disability Confident, but she does not want to disclose her dyslexia and learning difficulties. I told her it does not lower her chances of getting an apprenticeship, and it could actually help. Has anyone here gotten an apprenticeship with learning difficulties, or does anyone know someone who has? Is the application process different for them?

Level 4 vs Level 6 appr

Hello, I was told by my tutor that I would have a higher chance to get into a level 4 apprenticeship then 6, because I'm guessing they are less competitive, but is it worth it? For someone who wants to become a civil engineer? Level 6 u get a degree in 5/6 years but level 4 it takes you 3 years to get just the 1st year equivalent degree

Did I make a huge mistake?

Hello! I completed a Level 3 Engineering course and will be studying Civil and Infrastructure Engineering (BEng) at City, University of London. The course modules are split 50/50 between coursework and exams or in-class tests. Honestly, thinking about it now makes me quite scared. For modules like Mathematics 1, they expect the knowledge of an A-level Maths student, which I do not have, so I will likely struggle. There are eight modules in total, each worth 15 credits, so I expect the first term to move very quickly. I am worried I will not be able to keep up, revise effectively, and do well in my exams. I am also dyslexic, which I feel will make things harder. What can I do right now? Does anyone have any advice for me?

Modules/Units Help

Hello, I am going to study for a BEng (Hons) in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering starting in September. These are my first-year modules. I am trying to find out which modules are exam-based. I have searched everywhere, but I cannot find anything. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it!
