not a single second between 1776 and 2026 has it been good or done anything positive for the planet or the human race. when god or the universe decides to make it cease from existance it will be a net positive to the human race. it has multiple times ruined and stopped the world from being a better place
and fuck, it's still incredible, still made me cry, and i still miss everyone that died in this season. shit really made me wish Lee survived in the end, he was an amazing guy (in my playthrough at least), and cosmically he should not have died. looking back, it also makes me think how much trouble would have been avoided if lily just shot the st. johns straight up. everyone would have been alive in the end. season 1 really was a terrible time for everyone involve and how easily it could have been avoided if one (of like 3) things were different. if ben's teacher never got stuck in the bear trap, if the st johns never turned evil or at least got killed, if the bandits were wiped out early, if clementine wasn't manipulated by the stranger, if they hadn't moved into the motel, if that one bandit didnt get bit. damn!
i dont mean it literally aka the twitch streamer way, i mean i like to play up stuff i do in the game. aka i might shoot around someone instead of a direct headshot so they get spooked and feel like they're "under fire". or i like to just shoot AT someone without wanting to kill them really. or rob them without killing them. or just shooting in the air to make people think there's action going on. or driving recklessly with a car to make people go "wtf". basically clip farming but just to make things memorable for people
He takes extra supplies to give them away to bandits so they dont attack the motel. that's bad, but i dont think it's "we should actually kick him out or kill him" or "he is the reason my son died" bad. and everyone, characters especially and the writers, seem to think otherwise. in fact the writers thought it was so objectively bad lee literally cannot side with him at all. I dont really understand why what he did was so bad
