Why does god test us unequally?

So, god loves us all, we’re all equal in heaven, we all have one life, but for some reason one person is born in a first world country, in a rich loving family and has a modest but happy life, while another is born as a second rate citizen in a third world country, gets beaten and loses family members left and right. Why? If everything is according to gods will, what did person B do to deserve having test after test, only to arrive at the same spot as person A, not to mention person B apparently can get minus points for stealing or loving the wrong person. It’s not like in Buddhism, where you get reincarnated until you win, and can accumulate points. You’re born devoid of sin.

What’s Astarions mortal compass?

For someone who’s really sad about being a slave to Cazador he sure does disapprove a lot of "Let’s free the slaves!" options. Like, I do understand that he’s not a goody two shoes, but isn’t slavery the topic where he’s on the receiving end?
