Why does my steering wheel do this on ballyspring or witcombe etc, but when im on the basegame my wheel is fine with no mods installed. wheel is g920

i BUILT A CHURCH IN MINECRAFT BETA 1.7.3
can you tell me what i need to change or add because I'm not a great builder as you can see in the image. Also give me some ideas and advice because this is the second thing i have built in 1.7.3 as you can see in the image the light house was the first thing. Like what could I do to make it better and if I should add a bell tower into the church
