I've got curly hair and I'm trying to find a salon that actually knows what they're doing with curls. Feels like most places I've been to just cut it the same way they would straight hair, and I end up regretting it a week later.

I'm not looking for anything super fancy, just a stylist who understands curly hair and can suggest a cut that would suit me instead of going with the usual "short on the sides" approach.

If you've had a good experience somewhere, I'd love to hear your recommendations. Let me know the salon, city, and roughly what they charge if you remember.
