I went on my very first ride on my new Velotric Breeze 1 e-bike. My intended use for the bike is to commute back and forth to work. I wanted to play it safe, so I did my test ride around my neighborhood then next the bike trail. Unfortunately, while on the bike trail, I had a crash going down a steep hill. I think I pressed the brakes to soon? Anyway, long story short, the bike is fine but the remote got smashed up. I tried looking on their website but apparently replacement remotes are not for sale. If I took it to my local e-bike shop will they be able to replace the remote despite it not being for sale on Velotric's website?

I'm new to this. I named my Tolan, Tolan. I want to change his/her name to something less generic. Also how do I find out the gender of my Tolan? Do they have genders? I don't want to misgender someone....
