Is DK Country Returns Really THAT Hated?

One thing I always consistently see from people who have played Donkey Long Country Returns is that it's the worst game out of the Donkey Kong Country series, or at the least close to the bottom. Even then the people who "like" it never give it enough attention- and after recently visiting Universal for my Graduation gift and finding out the Donkey Kong ride was Country Returns themed it begged me to think about DK Country Returns once again.

In my opinion, it's the BEST Donkey Kong Game. Period. I grew up with it on the Wii, and even now still play it at least once a year on my computer. I think it's perfect. It's difficult, it has so much love and immersion put into the world, and MY BIGGEST HOT TAKE in this community.. it doesn't have the Kremlings. And I LIKE that. Personally, I don't particularly like them, and I like how the last three DK Country Games have had unique villains(ig not counting the final final fight in Bananza). I think that's an issue even Mario faces- I think it's just more fun having a more original threat. The Tiki Tak Tribe is severely underrated in my opinion, and I actually love them. I enjoy that they're music based, and each one of them have their own tune that hypnotizes each boss of the area. I also enjoy the world diversity- I know it's just on the basic DK Island but I think it's genuinely the best we've gotten. Now don't get me wrong, I still thoroughly enjoy the original DK Country, and I adore Tropical Freeze, but I can't get over the fact I feel like my favorite of the 5 games- Country Returns is so hated and not given enough love.

To add to what I enjoy about it, the music, ohhhh the music is just.. chefs kiss. I know some of it is remixes of old beats, but still, it's just fantastic. Also, I feel like I'm the only person who actually enjoyed the factory and lava world lmao, I thought it was a nice inclusion since I am aware that in the original DK country series it used to be an icy peak.

Now I will Preface I never finished DK Country but I did get very close, and I haven't played DK Country 2 or 3 yet but I plan on doing them at some point. The only two games I have beaten and done 100% completions on are DKCR and DKCTF.

Just reiterating my question, do you guys think the game deserves the hate it gets? What do you think about the game? Is it underrated or fairly rated? And is my view of the communities opinion on the game wrong? Let me know!

TLDR:: I love Donkey Kong Country, I think it's the best game in the franchise, I also believe it's unfairly hated, am I right or wrong? What's your opinion?

WatchTime Hours are Easy.

Ok so engagement bait title out of the way-

Why is getting WatchTime hours so easy for me? For example, I have over 2000 WatchTime hours currently, but only 190 subs. I feel like most people usually say stuff like "WatchTime hours are always the hardest to achieve" when I'm having the exact opposite.

Now I do relatively upload longer videos, and yes I do get decent engagement (good amount of likes and comments) but typically I feel like my subscriber conversion is low, at least lower from what other people describe.

For example, my latest video is a little over a hour long, it has 1.5k views, 70 likes, 1 dislike, 35 comments, 420 WatchTime hours and +23 subscribers. Is this good or bad? (Talking specifically about the subscribers, ik everything else is going swimmingly.)

And if this is good, am I just in the wrong groups that say it's harder to get hours? Or is it that my content is good enough to engage and watch but not good enough to stick around for future uploads? Idk, I'm not asking for anyone to go to my channel and watch the video, just asking if these statistics seem good or not and if people over exaggerate how hard it is to get WatchTime hours (because honestly I was under the impression it would take me months if not years to get to 4k hours)
