Hey all! I don’t know much about bunny body language and behavior but I would love to learn more. If you have any guides or resources to refer me to that would be great :) I’m far more familiar with the body language of geckos, invertebrate, and dogs.

Anyways backstory, my roommate has a little white bunny who will run full speed at and headbutt my chihuahua, she’s(the bunny) good with cats apparently, but has not been around other bunnies. For most of my interactions with her initially she would rub her chin on my and I even got a kiss at one point. She kisses my roommate more or less often. She also is a Humpty-Dumpty with a few of her toys.

I was grabbing her bowl so I could wash it and put fresh food into it when she RUNS at me and bites my hand. It was only barely painful, it didn’t break skin just left a little mark.

I know with dogs that could be resource guarding, with most other animals it’s them thinking I am or have food in my hands. I have no clue where bunnies lie with this sort of thing. I haven’t really interacted with her since, outside of giving her water and dropping food in with her.
