Ranking RHONY Season 6 as a First Timer

To preface this: I have no idea if they are canceled as of right now or not, and I know that I don't politically align with a lot of their beliefs.

Overall I liked this season ok, not as good as season 5, but I am excited for the next one! I got sick of some of the dumb drama (like the whole ghost writer thing), but it was a funish watch!

Favs to Least Favs: (PLEASE DEBATE ON THIS, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR MORE OPINIONS)

  • SONJA: Season 6 and I still love Sonja. She is so funny and her one offs make me CRACK UP. I really feel for her and know that the whole drunken fight after the horse race was a little rough (and they shouldn't have dragged her out after, they needed Bethanny to yell out "GO TO SLEEP" at her). I know she has her many flaws but shes still my queen and my close, personal friend (joke) Sonjarita. Special mention for Milou's funeral, that scene was life-changing and a cinematic masterpiece.
  • Carole: Carole has beaten my amazing star Ramona for 2nd place this season. She was so witty and funny, and I just love her energy. I feel like she doesn't stir the pot too much or make unnecessary drama. She was a breath of fresh air this season.
  • Ramona: Ramona lost her 2nd spot closest to my heart this season because of how mean she could be to my perfect and never morally corrupt Sonja. During the cowboy trip, she was especially aggressive (but not in a funny way), and it was a little distressing seeing her talk about how she is comparing herself and others to her dad. While I don't especially love Kristen, Ramona was definitely unfair and uncool to her.
  • Heather: Heather is still pretty strongly liked, she is very good on camera and I feel like her cool factor is super strong. I like how she does brave and fun things and keeps it mainly positive. However, this season she stirred the pot a whole lot and I think she unleashed all her stress on Kristen.
  • Kristen: Kristen seems to be the victim this season but I just can't find it within me to like her a lot. Maybe because she is new? She started off strong with an intelligent and strong personality (even though her intro line is a little weird), but quickly gave into the drama and went from an outside judger to an inside fire starter. Young Brandi likes her, so I guess she's chill (I love young Brandi), but idk something about her rubs me the wrong way sometimes. it seems like she's involved in a lot of the dumb drama.
  • LUANN: Luann is at the bottom for GOING HOME WITH MY BEAUTIFUL SONJA'S HARRY??????? So de classe (imagine a rolling eyes emoji here). I actually liked her a little more this season so put her above Aviva, but the double-crossing irks me pretty strongly and holding Ramona capitve in that tiny restaurant booth while berating her was a little strange. Shes growing on me for her kindness and silliness a little, though.
  • Aviva: Aviva gave me a headache this season. I cant express how dumb the ghostwriter drama was. It was boring to watch because of how obviously untrue and drawn out it was. I know that it can be hard to be against a bunch of crazy ladies but her actions were very weird. Overall Im tired of the Avivaness and all the drama and excited for next season (I think she's not in the next one? Idrk tbh its late and I finished two final exams today)

Special mention: KELLY: I ranted in my last post about her and I was haunted this season by "Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come" . When I saw those muscular arms and extensions I snapped out of my fear-induced frozen stance and cried for 7 days and 6 nights (kidding ofc, I wasn't crying the whole time I need my beauty sleep) (check 2nd pic, im shaking)

Overall meh season, what are yalls opinions?

Overall, take this with a grain of salt, but lmk anything you agree with or anything fun!

Going into Serving with NO experience

Let me clarify that I haven't had my interview yet, but I have it scheduled, and the restaurant seems quite eager to hire new employees.

I've been working since I was 14 (I'm 20 now), but I’ve never worked in a restaurant. My experience includes cafes, concert venues, ice cream shops, etc., but not a traditional restaurant setting. I applied for a busser or host role, but they are only hiring servers. I am a hardworking, quick learner: do you think it’s realistic to just cold turkey it and go in? I think I could do it but im a lil scared. #help

Season 5 first watcher: Faves to Least Favs (might be controversial)

To preface this: I have no idea if they are canceled as of right now or not, and I know that I don't politically align with a lot of their beliefs.

Favs to Least Favs: (PLEASE DEBATE ON THIS, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR MORE OPINIONS)

  • SONJA: I love Sonja so much. I feel like she's one of the most fun people to be around in this cast. She seems to be relatively open-minded about some of the drama, and (at least before St. Barths). Is she a messy drunk? Hell yeah, but who isn'?. I also feel for her for the shift her life took from living off billions to being severely in debt (and yes, I know the divorce was largely her) . If I had the social skills of Sonja, I would be unstoppable. I also appreciate the bare minimum of not including her daughter on the show. She's just so entertaining and seems fun to be around. I especially love her lock-in mog when she's listening, nd squints her eyes, and pushes out her lips. I think it's so funny how she slips into that face every other second.
  • ROMONA: I loved Romona and her craziness from the beginning, which is probably why I now love Sonja so much. I, (20-year-old female), feel so protective and dare I say maternal (don't kill me for this, I'm semi joking) towards Romona. She makes such bad decisions, but still ends up being positive through every single one. I love her bluntness and how open she is instead of being snide and passive-aggressive. She confronts her social problems head-on and seems fun to be around. She and Sonja are in my dream rotation. I just love her passion and her directness, and I find her funny, sorry.
  • Carole: I don't have a lot to say about Carole. I feel like she's very level-headed but also makes weird decisions (like initiating a separate double date on a girls' trip), but I agree with a lot of her ideas, and I feel like she has good social skills. She can be smartly funny, too, which is nice. I feel like she's too new to form any solid opinions, which is why I ranked her middle (I don't know if she stays after Season 5).
  • Heather: I like Heather, not as much as Carole, but I like how type A she seems. However, for being so "smart," you would think that she would know that she was setting herself up to fail with the whole "helping Sonja for free" thing (which, yes, I acknowledge was not so pretty on Sonja's part), but maybe she did it for the clout? Idk
  • Aviva: At the beginning, I liked Aviva and felt for her childhood trauma. I totally understand how trauma can affect your mentality as an adult. However, for volunteering for this show, she has a lot of anxiety and instability. I really didn't like the whole husband during the girls' trip this time.g, I think it would be perfectly feasible if her husband stayed in the hotel, and if she wanted to see him more, she could stay with him. She was acting very mean and aggressive towards everyone and was holding impossibly high expectations
  • LUANN: I cannot stand Luann. I hate how double-faced she is and how she listens in on everyone's conversations to store up ammo for her later fights. She purposely attacks things that are ridiculous and acts like she's the one who is taking the high road. I know some people love her due to her silliness and ridiculousness, ss but she is too smart to be acting like that. I hate the "subtle" digs that everyone knows are a dig, and then when they call it out, Luann acts like the victim. I can't stand how she so obviously stirs the pt, too, and how mean she is to my close personal friends Romona and Sonja.

Special mention: KELLY LAST SEASON OMG. You would've had to hold me back. All the "weird" use and then ANDY SAYING SHE WAS A VOICE OF REASON?????? Happy to get a break from her in season 5

Overall, take this with a grain of salt, but lmk anything you agree with or anything fun!
