Hi, just wanted to ask if it is okay and safe to share or send my ID picture to a lazada customer care support during live chat?

I encountered cash in issues in my lazada wallet and i seek help for their customer support, but they are requiring me to send them my id picture for proof of identification ( i was able to provide them other requirements they are asking like transaction history/purchase, receipt and as well as history of my lazada wallet) the one thing that im hesitating to provide is my id picture to a live chat or attaching to email, I'm genuinely asking if it is safe or not, just making sure that my personal data wont be stolen and be used for scams and stuff
