Mexico AI with pretty beach and some night life?

Not looking to go until May 2027, but we just returned from our honeymoon so I need new travel plans to research and obsess over lmao.

Looking for recommendations for an all inclusive in Mexico that is adults only. It’ll be 4 of us (28, 26, 24, 24). We’re not incredibly rowdy, but for reference just came back from Turks & Caicos which I found pretty boring at night, so at least some night life would be preferred.

We went to Platinum Yucatan Princess in Playa del Carmen last year and though I recognize it isn’t the resort’s fault, the smell of the sargassum was horrendous and we couldn’t even lay near the beach, much less get in the water, and it was pretty disappointing. So somewhere that’s less sensitive to sargassum would be ideal as we are big beach people. For reference, we found the food there to be fine. Food doesn’t have to blow us away.. more focused on beach/pool service/drinks.

PYP was fine for a 4 day bender and was pretty cheap, but wanting a bit more upscale for this trip. We’d like to 3 or 4 nights and stay around $3,500-4k with flights from DFW. Even suggestions on tiers of resorts would be nice :) TIA

Husband and I arrived on Wednesday and leave next Friday. We have a loose itinerary penciled in with some planned excursions but have never been here before so would love any input from you all! We are staying at an AirBnb on Grace Bay, but I think we both enjoyed our day at Sapodilla a little more. Grace Bay (at least near our entrance) is like..oddly quiet lol. Obviously beautiful, but we are 25.

We did the Lady Grace sunset cruise which was gorgeous but a little less intimate/more crowded than we expected. We’ve eaten at Coco Van, the Fish Fry, Chalkies, Osteria, and Turks Head. CocoVan was nothing to write home about, but the rest of the food has been good. We are definitely more bar food type than fine diners.

The remaining excursions we have planned are the 1/2 day Lady Grace Snorkel Tour, Noah’s Ark, and Jet Skis. The remaining restaurants on our list are Rickie’s, Cave Bar, Bob’s Bar & Eats or Sharkbite, Baci, and Castaways. Any must dos or skips come to mind? As you can probably gather, we aren’t ones to spend $300 on dinner (at least not on food lol).

We’ve currently only been to Grace Bay and Sapodilla Bay. I’ve heard good things about Long Bay, Pelican Beach, Leeward Beach..but no real way to determine which are best to prioritize. Maybe we just try them all?

So appreciate any input!!
